Hey I took my drug test on Wednesday. They said 3-90 days to hear back. How long did it take you to hear back after initial drug test ? Thank you. 

Just finished my drug test at the MTA building for station agent. 

Stop worrying about getting hired. Forget you ever applied and move on with life. Smh if they call they call if they don’t oh well.

I scored 97.5% my list # is 1170. I just got called in for station agent. I’ll do that in the mean time. 

What is the interview like?

Just got a letter to go in to start my pre employment paper work. Good luck everyone !

Just a related update. I received a letter in the mail yesterday directing me to come in for paper work and a drug test this week for STATION AGENT.

Still waiting for my call in for conductor since taking the OPA in October. 

Side note: I completely forgot I took the test for station agent. 

If you got an accounting education, why don’t you get an accountant job?

A bunch of you guys/gals seem very impatient, keep asking for a list and/or notice for OPA. Stop wondering and just wait or forget you ever applied. Your lives do not depend on this job. What if you never get hired?

That is incorrect. I have friends and family who retired and still working for transit. The conductors exam is 100 top score not 105. However they work they way down. I got a 98 and was called for opa two months ago. They told me that the Top 2000 scores will be called in for the opa then those who passed will be called for the medical and physical. 

How/ when will we know if we passed the OPA? If you know. 

Haven’t heard anything since I took my OPA over 6 weeks ago.

What do you mean you’re mind went blank? You didn’t answer them at all?

You could have it but not on. They don’t search you.

It’s 2 people within 2 feet from you on a small table. They give you scenarios and you respond what you would do.

This will make me nervous as hell and I might forget stuff, especially if the person is an attractive female.

HEY folks. I took the OPA on Tuesday oct 3rd. I thought it was pretty simple and straight forward and I think I definitely passed. I scored a 97.5% (2 wrong) on the written test. 

Does anybody know the process after the OPA and how long it will take? Thank you.
