Call out if I was you, I brought mine in I'm not sure if they needed it still or not tbh. You can always call to ask but it's an easier process if you're an RTO employee already.

Yeah that’s what I’m planning on doing.  Because I start work on Friday at 15:30. And if I recall that pre employment can be an all day event.

  2. Got my call/text/email yesterday as well. Congratulations to you all!

Does anyone know if we are already an RTO employee, do we still have to bring social, diploma etc…?
My appointment is 1/7/22 at 0630 and I clear at 0100 at Pelham. It’s going to be one long day :(

I wanted the B divison but got tossed into the A divison because the B division got filled up quickly. It could be easier because the A division only has 7 lines compared to the B division which has 15 lines. Also the A divison has only R188s, R62s, and R142s

19 out of the 20 from my A class got transferred to B division because they needed CRs. There’s word that they still need CRs in B so you guys may get your wish of being in B

  4. Don’t worry about it. As long as you read your stuff and pay attention. You’re golden. I got a 100 in my midterm and I believe I got 100 in the other official tests. Mind you the midterm and yard practical I did with excruciating pain. Checked myself to Er that evening I got home.

It’s not hard  good luck to all and thanks for the check pick up info

  5. So after my midterm and yard practical I had to be hospitalized three times. Been out until further nothice since May 2nd. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to pick up my last two checks and they tell me they were sent to bk but they don’t know exactly where.

Does anyone know where this location is exactly?

Yes. You have to get mta approval before you do that. It was in the new hire paperwork

Yeah the HR lady told me if wanted to keep a shift at my current job once we finish school car, I would have to notify transit. But I wasn’t sure if I had to notify them if I planned to work oneshift during school car    .

Go. No matter how bad the weather will be.  As already said, Transit is always up and running.  All those snow storms when the subway was shut down,  you will still have to report to your assigned location.  Two feet of snow?  You gotta report. No subway service?  You gotta report. Another hurricane sandy?  You gotta report.  And BTW,  during bad weather like snow,  there's "early report" which means call up the night before and find out if the job you have requires an early report if you don't already know.   One time I reported early without knowing there was an early report only because I live three stips from the terminal and show up early anyway.   I got lucky.

How do you guys commute in crazy snow storms if there’s no public transportation running? No cars on streets?
