I live on the other Island which sadly has no easy way to get to city and or Brooklyn by public transportation. Do we get a parking permit once we graduate school car?

True! I drive thankfully, but I’m worried about what I would do if they have me starting at one spot and then I finish my tour at a different location, I’ll have to take it all the way back just to get my car?

Hey guys, so just started training and I chose B division because it’s closer to where I live, but any advice and pros and cons in your opinion on A vs B division? TIA!

Depends on how close the next class is. I did 1st drug test in January, then got another email saying I had to come in for another drug test in March but this time it said what class I was being considered for, then I did medical and had to clear my hold and luckily I got into the April 11th class.

Just got the call! They approved more vacancies for April 11 class!! Going in for processing tomorrow!!!

You had it easy!!’ I was there yesterday to just clear my medical hold, got in at 10:45 (11am Appt) and didn’t leave till 4:45 pm.

No, Im on Zoloft and I got cleared, I just think you may need a note from doctor, but most likely be put on medical hold until you get the documentation.

Update: I cleared my medical hold, but sadly the class was full like I figured….. they don’t have another class date yet… really hoping it’s not too far out, I don’t want my drug test expiring.

When you go and do pre-employment and print out all the stuff you gotta fill out, there’s a form that you give your other employers information and they have to approve if you can keep that job as well…. But I don’t think they do it often because they want you to be at their disposal I’m sure.

Hey man, so I’ve heard that they are not the best at answering emails… I would keep replying to the original canvass email because I know that there is another person on that end, eventually they have to respond. I know the first pre-employment email I got I responded to say I received it and no response, but second pre-employment I responded and got a response back.. try every few days or at least once a week until you get a response.

I was curious is other peoples experience, when placed on medical hold, I emailed them today to set appointment up to clear it, so they take a long time to respond? I’m hoping I can still get into the April 11th class. TIA.

I feel it can’t hurt to get some info ahead of time! Question, did anyone mention is that class was full already? I just got my documents to clear my medical hold.

They should have attached a PDF with instructions when you go to 180 Livingston.. the link should be there.

So yes and no. Like I saw many people in there not even trying to wear something considered “professional” but just pack a polo and dress pants with you to change into. No one will think it’s for an interview or anything as long as it’s not too dressed up.

Well I think what he’s trying to say is that they want the most up to date reading, so since we don’t know when we are going to go to medical, we have to wait up until then to request the info from doctor? That’s what I’m gathering.

Hey!! So can you tell me exactly what they needed from doctor?? I already have sleep machine and want to be prepared if they call me for medical soon!
