Hey guys it’s been a while since I logged on I been really busy with training and all I started 11/9/20 . I’m glad to hear many of you will be starting class soon and congrats on the department you got placed in!!. I was placed in power, within power they have other sections such as cables, testing, zones, and system operations. I was placed in system operations, the department is short staffed and are pushing people to move up fast, my helper class is taking some classes maintainer classes take that’s how much they are rushing I would love to see some of you in this department. I have friends in elevator and escalators and other departments and for some reason you have to take a test to get transferred to power if you already in other department and many fail and idk why... so maybe you could ask you get placed here in the first place if you wish I promise you will not regret it. But regardless you guys have a foot in already congrats brothers welcome it’s uphill from here.

They’ll probably have another class or two I remember she once told me not to worry bc I’ll be in one of her classes so there’s more than one

Hey guys I got an email yesterday afternoon to go in today with a whole bunch of filled out paper work and a money order for 88$ I did finger prints and iD picture. I was told I start Monday November 9. You guys should call and find out what’s going on they’re still spots.

Damn it’s already the first week of November with no updates... has anyone been contacted via email or phone ? Last time I heard something was Two weeks ago

I saw like 3 other people doing the medical for the same reason I was. the medical section was full of employees there for different reasons and things are going slow bc of covid they don’t want too many people close to each other while getting tested that’s why the process took like 4 hours. And they do a very intense exam they check for color blindness, distance with each eye and for all that they use a machine in which they make you look into, He decides if you need glasses or not or if you have your own you can bring them.

Sorry that I haven’t been able to update you guys since my last post on Friday I wasn’t able to log in my email to reset my password for this site. But anyways on Friday I got an email asking if I’m interested in the job still, and the email also included which section they want to put me in and the salary they want to give me. Then on Monday I got an email With like 50-70 pages worth of things to print and fill out to bring in today. Today was the continuation of the medical exam eyes, chest, pee again, hearing, blood pressure and you also have to do some things on the computer. Then you have to speak to the doctor and he decides if you’re clear to work or not by signing a paper. (Try not to get placed on medical hold!) before I left I was told I’ll get contacted again soon I’m guessing is for my finger prints and ID. Today’s whole process took me about 4 hours.

Did anyone else get an email today ?

In that case we should be getting news at the end of this week or the next because it’s already mid way through October and if they trying to have us in classes by the end of the month they have to finish processing all of us first

For those who went for the drug test in the past week or two, have you heard anything back yet on what’s next ? Today I went in for it just curious to know how long I should expect to wait.
