  1. Darn! I just tried WageWorks live chat; not available for my account yet.
  2. Wife and I use OMNY regularly with phone and watch and I’ll say it hasn’t disappointed yet (except when she’s had her phone upside down once or twice). Do you use a case, and if so, might it be that? Or do you tap elsewhere with your phone w/o issues? What annoys me the most are that my employers transit card provider still hasn’t began issuing contactless cards (or added support for adding to mobile device wallet) and all the 2.75 transactions on my statements. would really like to be able to top up/off some card (physical or virtual) which I would then use. with the chip shortages mentioned, I do hope that forces the mobile wallet virtual card back into the picture (if there isn’t an equivalent option with the OMNY app itself). It doesn’t have to be for everyone of course. It’ll just leave a better supply of physical OMNY cards available for those who prefer it… looking forward to what the next 6 months bring to the system.
  3. I’m also curious about mobile app. Anyone aware of any news around that?
  4. System Rollout page reporting all subway stations online. 🎉
  5. Ah, right you are and that is what I was thinking of then; I’ll stop considering the two one in the same. But does that mean the mobile app wouldnt directly support tap do you know/think? If it’s like hop fastpass, maybe a physical card can be added and provisioned in a wallet for use, but a virtual card cannot be provisioned from scratch? Guess we’ll have to wait and see what it all looks like.
  6. Yeah definitely appreciate the update! I had read or interpreted incorrectly that there wouldn't be a mobile app and was wondering about that. Will have to see if Wageworks beats the mobile app (full or beta) with an actual contactless card or mobile wallet support. Hopefully they do an open (to the public) beta of sorts.
  7. I’ll add that my gf taps about twice a day (iPhone) and hasn’t encountered any issues (but 1 experience in several million). I’ve even gotten her (with express transit enabled) used to not waking the device or using Touch ID. I’ve had similar success as well (iPhone + Apple Watch), but I have a transit debit card (wageworks) which unlike BRI (with prior employer), doesn’t yet support mobile wallets and hasn’t issued a contactless card. Might your issue be due to software/firmware? and if so, are you on the latest Android release available for your device? (not rooted/etc - I’ve heard/read that could mess with mobile wallets).
  8. Page 14 of 76. Using transit debit cards (funded by pre tax dollars) which do not currently support being added to digital wallets, I think was going to be the best use case here. Similar to the Hop Fastpass app by TriMet (Oregon). Either they're not taking those use cases into consideration, consider it a small enough group not to matter, or are expecting transit card providers (Benefit Resource Inc., Wage Works) to release/update/add-support-for-existing debit cards which will work with the digital wallets. This could put some pressure on them to do so. Just tried to add WageWorks Commuter Card (debit) to Wallet now, to make sure, and its still not supported.
  9. Wonder if development of the mobile app for Android + iOS was accelerated in anyway. Anyone know someone good to ask? Will definitely/obviously aid with not touching metro-card/vending-machines, etc in the near future.
