I understand. Thank you for replying and for the information. Most likely I will end up taking public transportation. But I also do not mind leaving my home an extra hour or so earlier to find parking. Also, pay wise you get your first check after 2 weeks right? I know some companies have you waiting after 3 weeks because of that first week thing. Not sure if transit is the same.

I had a question for anyone who already started training. Is it worth it driving to work? Meaning do you always report to the same location for training or do you bounce around?

Think there’s been confirmation about June classes. But not sure about the rest of the year. But seeing how things have been going it’s possible there’ll be more classes.

I’ve seen some on here say they have. In the conditional letter I received they said to download the app called “Excelsior Pass”

Just got my conditional offer. Have to report on 5/2 for my medical. I went in 4/20 for my pre-employment. Since I originally missed my 3/23 one. I’m being considered for the 5/16 class. I’m excited and nervous. Some of you guys should be receiving emails today. List #34xx

Gotcha so yea took about almost 4 weeks not bad. Yea i may just make it for the June class then. I went in on 4/20. So i’m sure i’ll hear back in about 3 weeks.

Thanks for the response. I actually googled it after posting it to see if the internet may have had the answers and sure enough it did lol. Told me exactly what Divison A and B consists of.

Yes, i’ve been doing that everyday religiously. Checking once or twice a day.

Missed the email. It was sent to my spam and I never thought anything of it since I check my email about once a week. I received a call but no voicemail was left so didn’t think much of it. Until I went through my email and found it. I called and left voicemails and was until two weeks later was told to come in on Wednesday of this week. Went in and did the drug test now waiting on results.

I would’ve been in the same class as you. I had my appointment on 3/23 but missed it since the email went to the spam and I got a call but voicemail was never left and I never got the text message. I’m sure you can still go to medical and by the time June class comes you should be cleared and good to go.

Means they are offering you the job officially. Believe you gotta go in for medical and possibly be sworn in and also let you know when your class is to begin. If i’m not mistaking. Anyone on here can correct me if i’m wrong. Best of luck to you!

Not at all. They just asked what time is my appointment I told them the time and said ok go on. Once on the 5th floor you are greeted by someone else who asks if this is your first time and for what it is you’re there for. They hand you a ticket and you go up to the window counter and explain once again and hand in the packet that was emailed to you to fill out.

Better off going on person. I missed mine back from 3/23 and I went in yesterday they took me in but prepare to be there all day. I went in at exactly 9am and did not leave until 4:45pm. Now just waiting on Drug testing results. List # 34**

I’m assuming it’s parking it up at the yard for the day or just moving it. Basically same terms used when you’re also a Bus Operator. Like pulling the bus in. Just means your taking it into the yard/depot.

Awesome! So it’s good to know which divison is best for someone who lives in specific boroughs. What’s the train yard called in Casey Stengal? The one in Flushing, Queens.
