    The need for conductors is just talk that I've been hearing,and I'm combining that with how many times I hear rcc over the radio asking conductors to contact crew office if they wanna work extra days,who knows.

    Yea the MTA is in need of a lot more conductors,I've been out on the road for about two months now and heard they are doing 2 maybe three more classes.After february that's it.to the people who don't get called the MTA is doing open competitive train operator/conductors exams very soon so ya might wanna look into that

    I was mid 8000's and my class graduated two months ago so maybe late 8000's or early 9000's

    One of the bars you have to grab to reach for to get on the train from the tracks.If you can't safety get on the train from the tracks unfortunately your cut.

    Hope some one can answer this...do conductors stand all day while on a train or is there an optional seat for you to sit on while on duty?

    I can agree since I live in Jersey,no sense to drive to the city unless there's free employee parking

    Yea I already have like a backpack duffle bag hybrid hopefully that's good.what time of the day are your classes? I know if I make it to the may 22nd class it might differ but I wanna get an idea,it would be great if mine are afternoon classes since I take my kids to school every morning.
