  1. Wonder how f'ed I am in their system if my list number is #54## and I took OPA in early mid September 2022. I had passed on taking the OPA on Jan 25th of 2022, got an opportunity again in Sept 2022, had called them recently and they said that I passed yet no call for any pre-employment wtf?! I scored a 95 on the main test back in what 2015 was it?
  2. I passed on it in January 2022, I asked if I could take it in Sept (literally asked in September) they scheduled me in for it for Sept 14th, I originally passed on it because of a trip/vacation that I wasn't going to cancel in mid August for almost 3 weeks. People during testing were list number in the 7k's I believe. Knew I'd be screwed if missed any following up if I had taken the test in Jan.
  3. Damn, I'm #54xx I think on this list, took OPA in Sept after not taking it in January, smfh.
  4. Anyone that did the OPA on September 14th 2022 hear back from them yet? Trying to call the exams unit number now to find out what's up with my OPA results.
  5. Thanks for the insight, is that how it usually goes? Don't you spend 8 hours inside a train/trains per day normally?
  6. No lifting bro, or at least not much 😂, it's for security work. I've done it for the past 13 years at a university, I checked the hourly rate again and it's between $28.50 to $38.00 p/h, I'd be satisfied if they started me anywhere after $31 tbh. I expect lots of standing and walking around, which I prefer tbh. Waiting for them to call for an interview now.
  7. Do you think this is a better opportunity regardless then? It's like I have a feeling that I jump on the hotel op, that my next steps in this would probably come up and I'd have to drop the hotel deal. What a dilemma..
  8. I'm pretty sure the Hilton can match or nearly match anything the MTA has to offer. And I'm looking at a starting per hour rare of $28.75-$37.85 I'm just thinking about the insane repetitive nature of being a conductor... And this not so guaranteed "process"
  9. I wonder if I should even bother with this anymore, took the OPA back in September after postponing my Jan exam date, seeing what initial pay and eventual top pay is I wonder if just working in a midtown hotel for about the same pay if not higher initially is a better idea then deal with what I anticipate to be a mess of a schedule and a bunch of nonsense being stuck in a train every day lol... Meh. List # 54XX
  10. Yoooo, question, for the picture OPA part we didn't needs to fill anything up on that second answer sheet with the 10 answer rows right? It was just to speak about the pictures shown to us right lol?
  11. It's a pass or fail test, I'm guessing if you did good enough in general they pass you. Unless you got everything wrong of course don't expect a pass then.
  12. Thank you bro much appreciated! I have some news for the rest of the peeps here. Did my OPA exam yesterday, there were 32 people in there taking the test! All list numbers 75xx+,76xx etc.
  13. Guys, question. I just asked to be restored and be given an opportunity to take the OPA exam since I had to decline it back in January, I'm going in tomorrow morning to take it. My list number is #54XX, do I have good hopes to be called into the next steps of the hiring process sooner given my list number? Thank you for all the help.
