I tested positive, had to do 30 days to provide the report, after the 30 days the sleep doctor writes the clearance letter and you take it to 149 to get cleared from the medical hold, FYI after the 30 days continue to use the machine, the doctors at 149 might need to see that your still using it

Let me ask you, is the practical mistake free? Meaning if you ace the important parts(door cutouts, terminal departures, improper zones) and miss some steps like announcements, will they fail you?

No matter what the outcome is, STAY POSITIVE! You will be IN! Believe me! I worried the entire time because of this sleep apnea situation, now I’m in school car, studying way ahead of the practical and exams, learning and retaining the info! YOU GOT THIS!

Yes once the 3 months passed you will have to do the drug test and medical over again

I was down there physically at 180 on February 2nd and was told the list has been extended for a whole year, one of the workers who appoints people to the position of C/R told me that, that information came from the “queen mother of conductors” whoever that lady is lol

Got you, I was planning on taking the train instead of driving anyway, but I will be taking extensive notes and focusing and because of my height(6’3) I heard it will be way easier to climb the train lol

Thank you so much! It’s been a long road and that was just pre employment! I know I have an even challenging way to go! But I’m focused and ready! I must say those doctors at 180 are definitely some interesting people lol

Got hired today for the march 4th class! My advice to anyone wondering “why no email?” Or “why so long” GO DOWN THERE!!! They are literally sitting on paperwork!!! FYI they are moving from 180 so they are packing boxes of paperwork, so you know it’s going to be a lot “missing paperwork” DONT BE NERVOUS! GO DOWN! I went on 2-2-24 to inquire about a drug test I took on 1-5-24 and they sent the email the same day on 2-2-24 telling me to come down today for the medical and got cleared!
