  1. I like the B34 idea, Threexxbus. Do you intend for it to serve Broadway Junction?

B53: If a route like this were to happen, I would have it past Broadway, and it would only operate during rush hours.

I have some ideas of my own, not much.

B54: Remove stops at Kent Av(both directions), Walworth St(EB only), and Clinton Avenue(EB only). The Clinton Avenue westbound stop should be moved to the NE corner of Vanderbilt Avenue.

B38: Add an EB bound school tripper starting at Vanderbilt Av/Park Av (SB B69 stop). It can end at the Metropolitan and Starr

B69: To Williamsburg-North 14 St via B62 route up to North 7 St then (NB: Left on N 8 St, right on Kent Av. Terminate at Kent/N 14 St. SB: Start on N 14 St, Right on Wythe Av, left on N 7 St, right on Driggs and continue along B62 route to Vanderbilt Av, then current B69 route.

BM5: Replaces the QM15 north of Pitkin Avenue on Weekends. Also, Pitkin Avenue is moved to Rockaway Blvd.

    BM2/BM4: No service on weekends.

BM1: Serves Kensington on weekends. Trips will be timed with BM3 so that combined frequency in 30 minutes

Q35: It wasn't my idea, but I know someone on another thread suggested short turns between Kings Plaza and Riis park during the summer.

  3. I decided to be a little unorthodox.

This is the 11A Ronkonkoma-North Fork Express Line

Hourly express service between North Fork and the Ronkonkoma from 5AM to 9PM

East Zone = between Tanger Outlet Mall and Orient Point

West Zone = between MacArthur Airport and Yaphank LIRR Station

Express Zone = between the East and West zones

    Fares:

    Within one zone: $1.50^*

Across the Express Zone: $3($1.50 on the weekend)^

    Transfer to SCT: $0.25

    Transfer from SCT: $1.50^**

    * Travel within the East Zone is only allowed on Sundays

**Transfer must be purchased on the SCT bus from an additional $0.25

^ Price is reduced at the same proportion as on SCT buses.

  6. MTA buses are not allowed to p/u, d/o in NJ..

I see. I'll assume you're talking about the express buses. Then it could be done by a private operator.

And to answer your question, VG8, I imagine the SIers would fill up about 24 to 35 seats per run with about maybe 7 round trips.

  7. The folks in Yorkville don't want to deal w/the subway nor the SBS on the M15 and they can afford $5 - $6 each way.

This X40 sounds weird... Why Union City????

It came to me when I realized that all the buses and jitney connected Union City to Manhattan only serve the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Though if I were to run the X40, I'd only charge $2.50-3 from Union City.(or $2.25 if the MTA runs it)

  8. But it was axed... I was hoping to get to ride it too since I go up by the Upper East Side/Yorkville on occasion for the eateries there, but never got the chance ;)

About that, I found out there's a commuter van company that provides service along the X90. It's called Mario's Transportation and they charge $5 to Wall St($6 to WFC)

    But to the topic.

    X40 Gannon Av-Midtown Express
