  1. I would love to see RTS' make a return to Gleason. They did appear back in 2012, but it didn't last very long. Also, the Grand Avenue 3990s are starting to replace Yukon's outgoing stickers. They removed decals from 3996 and 3997. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  2. I just wanna ask a question here because I caught 4139 on the B62. Is that a new transfer or has that bus been in Brooklyn for awhile? Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  3. Those NGs are already at the Queens Village Depot. Been there for a little over a week now. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  4. I don't think anyone here spoke as if it was a certainty that the B44 sbs was going over to Grand. I just think that for a lot of us are just excited at the prospect of such an important route going over to a depot that may or may not be up to maintaining the route. For me anyway, it's the idea that the B44 SBS Going over to GA would allow for the B47 returning to Flatbush or the B60 returning to East New York. Us transit enthusiasts get excited over such things. Just my guess, though. My question is what happened to bus #6853? Is it retired or what? Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  5. Yeah, a lot of us are hopeful that the B47 would return to Flatbush: Eny has enough buses. For the time is pending Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  6. I sure hope not. Not unless they get ENY's 2006-2007s. The ones they gave to Eny can stay right there. Also, 6897 is at QV, saw it on the q2 yesterday. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  7. 4513 now at the Stengal. Sad, sad. I first recall catching that bus on the now defunct B51 bus in Brooklyn back in 2009. Man, how that bus had had a journey I intake short life. As for the Novas, I don't see the big deal about them going to Castleton. Jamaica has over 100 new LFS' already. If anything, the batch of Novas should either stay put in Brooklyn or go to Queens Village, to kill off those in the 2011 series. I do want to see the B47 return to Flatbush, but at what expense? I honestly don't see anything else happening, if it is to be that the B44SBS Is heading North to GRand. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  8. ^^I know. I've always wanted the B47 to return to Flatbush. But the GA depot should toss the B39 as well. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  9. The news regarding GA and ENY is very exciting indeed!!! My only question is when will these changes go into effect? And what has to go in order for the SBS44 to go over to Grand Avenue? The B39? The B47? Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  10. It's too bad, but it looks as if the NGs at QV are soon to be a thing of the past...at least until something else has to be replaced. Also, does anyone have any idea why Grand Avenue has not removed Yukon's Stickers from their recent 3900s? It just seems careless to leave SI decals on Brooklyn buses for that long, especially when they are no longer loans. 6902 is at QV. Saw it on the Q88 this morning. 11. Seriously, who doesn't know that Willets Point is Casey Stengal? They're practically side by side!!!!!! In any event, 4480 is at Stengal. Just saw last night on the Q76. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  12. I saw 6863 on its way to QV (presumably from CS- it's decals still intact)while waiting for the Q27. Not too long thereafter, I spotted 4179 heading somewhere down the Horace Harding Expwy. I did wait for a new transfer at the Springfield-Jamaica Avenue stop and after about an hour, I was rewarded for my efforts with catching 6849, new stickers already intact. 13. What happened to 4668? I thought that bus was a part of QV'S roster? Also, what happened to the 9600s that Eny had a while back? It seems that 9480 is the only bus from that year that's left at that depot. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  14. Yeah, until those 6400s are on the chopping block. Then the NGs are the saviors once again. I really hate how the MTA Treats the Next Generation Hybrids like the step children of the fleet. The black sheep of the family of buses that get sent from place to place to replace worn out buses. Tbh, I prefer those to the OGs and even the original LFS'. 15. I sure hope not. I loved those NGS Being at QV. However, QV recently received some 4600s from Jam, so there is still some hope there for an NG presence. By the way, 6844 is now at QV. Saw it near the terminal in Jamaica. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
