Thank you and thanks for the insight! I am kinda nervous about school car but I will focus and concentrate, I’m hearing most people have difficulties when it comes to the practical when “cutting out the doors”
It was hard at first BUT you will get it. Just make sure you take GREAT notes. Also, BE ON TIME. Can't stress that enough. If they tell you to report to school car at 0700 and you come at 0701, they will question you and possibly punish you. When I was in school car, the TSS formed a chain once 0700 came. So when you opened the door, they got you. So be on time. Again, you got this!

Thank you so much! It’s been a long road and that was just pre employment! I know I have an even challenging way to go! But I’m focused and ready! I must say those doctors at 180 are definitely some interesting people lol
Congratulations and welcome aboard! You will do fine with the training and posting! Don't worry about it. I've been hear almost 7 years and the job does have its moments like ANY job but you will be fine.
One piece of advice that I would like to give you (if you don't mind)...when you finish posting and you're on your own, then get your assignments from the crew office...plan your route to get to the terminal. TRY...TRY not to drive. Use the subway to get to your assignment. If you must drive, then leave early. If you're on the train and you're not going to make it on time, just get the subway car number that you was in and they will check and verified that you was late BUT wasn't your fault. Your assignment COLUD be adjusted as a result.

18004, 18014, 18016, 18030, 18037, 18058, 16003. As im currently hearing none of those buses will return and will be a write off.
Twe gave them 18064-18068 and they had 19136/19143 to cover those buses. They complained we was getting too many buses, so they send newton Av back those 2 19000s, and took 17063/17069-17075.
13 buses from eht to replace 6 buses, make that make sense. Now we are short buses again. Only 10 decamp buses was available last night at 930pm rest are on hold until 10am to see if they can run to avoid depot delays.
Washington Twp is not a 24hr garage. On Saturday/Sundays 80% of their buses sit.
We help out with Washington Twp because the lack of manpower there, us helping with the 551/554 has nothing to do with the bus moves.

So these buses (in bold) are confirmed scrapped?

3 hours ago, Calvin said:A little notice when it comes to upcoming buses being retired, not to be negative or as said above disrupting info, when checking units, please try not to use the online tracker to determine final word that it's retired. Some of the units are actually out in passenger service, however, after maintenence at the depot, the tracker on some are disabled and cannot be looked at. Units are 4011 and 4072 that's in-service but won't pop up online.
* 4074 (in passenger service but may also not be online)
All are in service? Very well!

Beginning on March 3rd, Route #1 reverts back onto NYS 110. That routing by Huntington Hospital...added minutes to the line, which I knew wouldn't last long. www.sct.org

Yep, I noticed it on my initial ride on the #7... The immediate area looks infinitely tidier & presentable!
As for Syosset, well there's always been demand for the more commercial part of Syosset, south of the RR station (as in, along Jericho Tpke, over there by S. Oyster Bay rd. & Underhill rd).... Problem with the old N94 (the route you're referencing) was that it ran in the opposite direction along Jericho Tpke. to serve the business parks... It literally did nothing to address the demand for the part of Syosset people wanted.... Those taxi's at the RR station (Syosset) continue to make a killing because of it.
Actually, I was referencing to an older route...the N81 (source Wikipedia) and those "interesting" routes from the 1970s and 1980s. However, I forgot about the N94 as well and you're right ...it should have been addressed when it was in service.

Over nine years later, and the depot is still there. They were suppose to demolish it, but nothing came to fruition.
They are using it for relief points for the M15 and M15 SBS and temporary storage.

Is 4119 still at CP? I just saw it yesterday afternoon on the Q25/Q34.
It is shocking to see hybrids assigned to CP.
I understand the MTA has a system in place with how buses get moved/retired but I wish they’d finish BP’s order.
However I am happy to see LGA getting their new buses now!As of yesterday, it's there.
