Oh my I'm really late with this, sorry about that. I'll get to your signs when I'm able to. 

I heard the R-68As brakes (the 5000 series) are a bigger pain in the butt than the R-68s. 

He said at least on weekdays, not necessarily that it needs 7-day service.

 

In any case, with the S93, I think you'd just be better off using those resources to create the S83, and just have people transfer from the S62 to the S83. (Hopefully, they still have that 3-legged transfer when they implement the S83)

 

In any case, there are a lot of people transferring from the S53 to the S62, even off-peak, so I can see where he's coming from with that.

 

As for the S51, it runs every 20 minutes off-peak, while the ferry runs every 30 minutes, which makes it harder to connect with the ferry. One bus connects with the ferry, and the one that connects with the next ferry leaves 20 minutes later, when the ferry runs every 30 minutes.

 

The S83, you mean the limited stop along the entire S53 route between Port Richmond and Bay Ridge, if I'm not mistaken.

You do have a point about the S51 connecting to the ferry.

I think the S93 limited should run all day (at least on weekdays) as opposed to rush hours. That would take a load off the S53 and S62 to a certain extent.

I personally would like the S51 to have more frequent service during weekdays too.

Forgive me if this was discussed already, but how about an extension of the B36 from Sheepshead Bay to Kings Plaza via Avenue U. It would take a load off the B3 in my opinion.

I have mixed feelings about that.... during mornings & early afternoon hrs (weekends; both days), I agree...

 

However, whenever I take the 100 towards kings hwy subway in the late afternoon & early evening hrs (on a saturday, at least), those buses only be having < 5 people on it from Utica av on over to the subway station....

 

I was thinking about how people in Mill Basin go about their transportation, not necessarily to connect with the subway at the Brighton line. I'll agree with you that there isn't so much ridership on the weekends on the B100

The B2 and B31 are fine the way they are.

I honestly think the B100 can be more frequent on weekends, especially Sundays.

~ 8th Avenue Local to Fordham Plaza- Webster Av weekdays. Other times take C to Harlem 145 St and transfer to Manhattan bound A making local stops from 145-207.
