Ouch! That sounds rough! I do agree that the Ad's do make the holiday over hyped and dangerous if it is directed to the people that would make things rough like what happen @ Wal Mart in Valley Stream near Green Acres Mall. I used to go to that Wal Mart and I can tell you that the clientele there is pretty rough as I have seen close calls of fights in there several times as there is a lot of people from Southeast Queens go's there and most of Southeast Queens is pretty rough.

That sucks! So you can't really hang out with anybody?

And when you say "rampant materialism", do you mean how the holidays are being promoted in ads and other things?

That's interesting. My snow day was not bad at all. I am in the middle with the holidays. There's some things I don't like about it but there's something's I do like about it. I do wonder about what you don't like about the holidays? Maybe we could be on the same page for all I know

And we would be Neighborhood Transit Buddies! lolz! I kind of like Co-Op-City however I am mainly up there for Bay Plaza and the BX12 SBS!

Ah thats interesting! I know a few people up there and I even almost moved up there as well. It's kind of a long story behind that.

WOW! I take it that Queens is a bad luck zone for you. The Queens Center Mall is a very nice mall.

Where are you from anyway if I may ask?

Electchester is very close to my house! The QM4 is a nice and short route but I don't really use it much outside of some weekends as the QM1/QM1A on Union Turnpike is more frequent.

(I pretty much live 1/2 way between Union Turnpike and Jewel Ave)
