Well, I wanted to go see the ceremony and ride the train there, but I didn't give myself enough time to make the trip, so I stayed at 125 Street to catch it. First time riding it too, and it was very interesting...not to mention it was warm inside, too.
What an incident we had while going up the rockaway stretch, the train got delayed by about 15 minutes due to a signal fire in Howard beach (the outer track going down). Shuttle trains are going to Howard Beach since they can't use the switch layup track, which added to the congestion.
