Not dust. Kind of looks like chalk.I think its just dust forming between the clear plastic layer and the actual paper card. The same thing happens to a phone inside a case after a while...

Westchester has always been terrible. R142As would have many unfixed damaged side signs, dirty interiors, and a weird white substance all over the strip maps.

But the having three southern termini is a-okay, at least to the MTA.Less confusing than having 2 northern termini for the .

Just when you thought sign production couldn't get any worse, they give you this gem
I wonder why it doesn't say "all times."

I recently went on a tour of the Brooklyn Public Library and I heard from the curator that there's a rumor that when the IRT was first being built, there were plans for a subway station (Eastern Parkway line) directly connected to the basement floor of the library itself, but the plans never followed through/construction started briefly but stopped. I can't find anything online about this, is there any truth to this rumor?

The same font BS happened to the downtown Union Sq platform, too. It's directly across from an old sign, anyone can tell the text is off.

Very insignificant thought, but I wonder how they'll address the re-addition of the on the and programs. Seen in the video below, there was a dedicated transfer announcement at Union Sq. So I wonder if they'll bring that back, or just edit in the letter 'W' in the current Charlie Pellett transfer announcement.

Not 100% SAS related, but they already have signage up at 28th St.

what anyone seen the R188's with the LED rings lately? Seems as if they disappeared.
Good, they were ugly and had no place on an NTT.

Is the 100% R160 on the weekends? That's like the only time I ever see them and when I do, there are no R46s to be found.

So the 142s are nearing 20 years old, and we already have two new different fleets coming in for the B division. Aside from the 188s that were meant for the , what does the future hold for newer A division cars, specifically ones to replace the R62s?

I've seen it happen on the but only R142As.

So earlier this afternoon I took my girlfriend home, and my train was a 160. We get in car 8317. I go back home about an hour later, and I get the same exact set.
I'm on the again hours later, and what do you know, 8317 AGAIN lol.
I forgot the car number, but there was a pool of vomit in one of the corners of the train. I got off at 72nd St on the , spent an hour in the city, and when I went back into 72nd St to go home, I got the same car with the same pool of vomit.

When will the next subway Transit Worker (whether it be train operator or conductor) exam be? and where do you apply for it?
http://web.mta.info/nyct/hr/appexam.htm
The application will be open in December. Next conductor exam won't be for another few years.

The only thing I agree with is extending non rush Hour Trains (Weekdays obviously) to Bedford Park Blvd.
The to Lefferts and to Rockaway is pretty solid imo, would reduce customer confusion with the having three terminals.

As is all of the fleets in the subway system. The current NTTs are not that special to me, that's why I'm looking forward to the R211s. Design wise they've taken it to another level.
Oh yeah, the digital front bullet display is something I've wanted for a while. Glad to see they're acting on it.

I mean NTTs are serious businessMy lord, I can understand wanting so desperately to see NTTs on the & , but this is getting ridiculous already.

That's up to the dispatcher.Do you guys think it's true if a train is being rerouted, the train operator has the choice if he wants to switch the train to the line it is being rerouted? Like say a train was rerouted via the line to Van Cortlandt Park 242 Street or via the line to Harlem 148 Street, do you guys think the operator has choice if he wants to switch the train into a or train?

I always thought the half of the 's fleet should go to the . 7th Av Local could use wider doors.
