  1. Hey, the ones on the MTA maps are in many pieces, so I just put all of them into one group so that it acts like one object. If you're editing an MTA map just select the second tool from the top on the left side bar, drag a box around the limited stop or SBS stop on the map, and press Ctrl+G, then it should act as one object.

  2. Yeah, just keep right clicking and hit enter group until you can select the individual ones.

  3. Well all I really did was practice and mess around with it until I got the hang of it. What you should do is get a good editing program, such as Inkscape and download the bus map from the MTA's website. Then open it up, delete all the bus routes already on the map, then just use the drawing line tool to draw new lines, change the width and color, and that's pretty much it. For the other stuff such as route numbers and terminals, I just copied them from the original map.

  4. I use Inkscape to edit it. And to make the map all I did was download the Manhattan Bus Map from the the MTA's website, open it in Inkscape, and delete all of the routes and labels so that all that was left were the streets and stuff. Then I could just draw new routes and stuff. :)
