Believe it or not, finances is secondary for me. I just want to operate a bus. Gimme and Orion V or and Orion VII NG and I'll be in bliss. I would love to operate an MCI or Prevost express bus, but May have to move way up in seniority for that!!!

My dad is an bus operator for manhattan divsion, sometimes when im free i ride his bus and he would teach me a few things as he doing them like the left and right turns. But Masterkham has a point. The more you behind the wheel the more confident you will fill controlling the bus.

It definitely helped me. I am a connoisseur, so I a little obsessive compulsive about the way I move the bus. When I am in a good mood and feel proud of the fact I know how to operate it, I will let the wheel slide when I make a turn and stuff like that, but most of the time, both of my hands are on that wheel and I like to make sure I am centered in my lanes.

Double edged sword that is yeah you will get past the initial fear, lack of comfort of driving a large vehicle but you then can end up building bad habits and exposing your license and driving record needlessly to danger

You build bad habits when you take your mind off off the big picture. The experience helps, just don't get arrogant. I still humble myself.

I think the best thing to do, for everyone who has no bus operating experience, is get a temporary school bus job until you get called. It will help build your school, so that when you get to , you understand the anatomy of a bus.

The way i view it, I know the test was easy and even my self studied real hard with dmv questions, point of interest and etc. But remember easy or not the entire process to get hired will be a journey. Alone some wont pass the 7-10 day class. So lets all appreciate and see whats next

Either way, it seems the won't make anyone happy!!! Lol. I am glad it was easy. Everyone should be thankful that they have studied. The preparation is a polishing.

I am enjoying reading everyone's comments. This test may as well have been a lemon cake with chocolate frosting on top and each of us given a slice. That made me want some. Hehe. I think a majority of us passed!!!

Now I just feel for those who paid for that class. What a waste of 70 federal notes.

That test was very easy. I was all shaken in my boots for no reason.

Just want to let everyone know that the passbook I have is pretty up to date compared to the one I got five years ago. It also has places of interest. I recommend it.

The exam start at different times of the day and in different schools, depending on the color.

I got my passbook today. The test should be a piece of cake. The questions are easy.

I got a blue, too, Romeo1982!!! I thought I was the only blue!!! Lol
