  1. All 3 Tracks on the Simpson Street Curve are being replaced and the Freeman Street Interlocking is still in place. How would you change service?

     

    (2) trains run in 2 sections-

    From Wakefield-241 St to Freeman Street

    From 137 St-City College or Harlem-148 St to Flatbush Ave-Brooklyn College

     

    (5) trains run in 2 sections-

    From Eastchester-Dyre Ave to East 180 St

    From 3 Ave to Bowling Green or Flatbush Ave-Brooklyn College

  2. Due to structural issues, the Broadway-Lafayette (:)(D)(F)(M) station is closed and trains cannot pass through. (The (4)(5)(6) are unaffected)

     

    How would you alter service on the (:P(D)(F)(M) (might also have to play with the (A)(C)(E))?

     

    (B) trains are suspended

    (D) trains run in two sections-

    1.From Norwood-205 St to 34 St-Herald Sq

    2.From Atlantic Ave-Pacific St to Coney Island-Stillwell Ave

    <D> rush hour service is suspended

    (F) trains run via the (A) from West 4 St-Washington Sq to Jay St-Metrotech

    (M) trains run via the (J) from Essex St to Chambers St

    (N) trains stop at DeKalb Avenue

  3. Due to a Manhole explosion in Long Island City, the explosion impacted (E)(F)(G)(M)(N)(Q)(R)(7)<7>service. Note: There is no power in that section in Queens. How would you change service?

    (E) trains are running between Jamaica Van Wyck to Jamaica Center.

    (F) trains run in two sections-

    1.From Jamaica-179 St to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Ave via Queens Blvd Local

    2.From Roosevelt Island to Coney Island-Stillwell Ave

    (G) trains are running from Greenpoint Ave to Church Ave

    (M) trains are running from Lexington Ave-53 St to Middle Village-Metropolitan Ave

    (N) trains are running between Lexington Ave to Coney Island-Stillwell Ave

    (Q) trains are running between 57 St-7 Ave to Coney Island-Stillwell Ave

    (R) trains are running between Times Sq-42 St to Bay Ridge-95 St

    (7) trains are running between Woodside-61 St to Flushing-Main St

    <7> trains are suspended

    Free shuttle buses are running from Jamaica Van Wyck(E) to Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike(E)(F)

    Free shuttle buses are also running between Roosevelt Island(F) to Greenpoint Ave(G)

    A third free shuttle bus is running from Vernon Blvd-Jackson Ave(7) to Lexington Ave-59 St(N)(Q)(R)

    -From 205 Street to Second Avenue (on the southbound platform)

    and

    -From Atlantic-Pacific to Coney Island

    (E) trains are terminating on the left side of World Trade Center

    (J) trains are running from Parsons-Archer to Broadway Junction

    (M) trains run in two sections-

    -From 71 Avenue to World Trade Center (On the right side)

    and

    -From Metropolitan Avenue to Central Avenue (single tracked)

    (N) trains run in two sections-

    -From Ditmars Boulevard to Canal Street (On the (R) platform)

    and

    -From 59 Street to Coney Island

    (Q) trains are suspended.

    (R) trains run in two sections-

    -From 71 Avenue to Whitehall Street

    and

    -From Court Street to 95 Street

    (S) Rockaway Park shuttle trains are running between Beach 116 Street and Mott Avenue

    (Z) trains are suspended.

     

    An additional shuttle train is running from Marcy Avenue (J M) to Broadway Junction ( J ) on the eastbound track of the Nassau Street Line.

     

    An additional shuttle bus is running from Beach 90 Street ( S ) to Broad Channel (A S) ending at Beach 67 Street ( A )

     

    Another additional shuttle bus is running from Canal Street (N Q R) to Grand Street (B D) to DeKalb Avenue (B Q R) ending at Atlantic-Pacific (B D N Q R)

     

    A third additional shuttle bus is running from Marcy Avenue (J M) to Essex Street (J M) to Bowery ( J ) to Canal Street ( J ) to Chambers Street ( J ) to Fulton Street ( J ) ending at Broad Street ( J )

  5. There are stalled trains at Westchester Square, Parkchester (both downtown), and Whitlock Ave (uptown). What do you do?

     

    (6) trains run in two sections-

    From Pelham Bay Park to Parkchester

    -Parkchester-bound (6) trains run non-stop between Pelham Bay Park and Parkchester.

    From Hunts Point Avenue to Brooklyn Bridge

    -Rush Hour service is suspended.

  6. An (N) train jumped the track while entering the 60th Street tunnel, completely obsuring (N)(Q)(R) Queens Service. Lexington Av- 63 St is under repairs. There can be no trains in the 63 St connector north of the 57 St Station. (G) Trains are not running north of Bedford-Nostrand due to construction.

    How do you re- route (F)(M)(N)(Q)(R) Service?

     

    (F) trains run via the (M) from 36 Street to 47/50 Streets-Rockefeller Center

    (N) trains run in two sections-

    -From Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard to Queensboro Plaza

    and

    From Lexington Avenue-59 Street to Coney Island.

    (Q) trains are terminating/originating at Times Square-42 Street from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue

    (R) trains are terminating/originating at 57 Street-7 Avenue from Bay Ridge-95 Street

  7. Due to structural issues, the top level of the 7th Avenue (B)(D)(E) station collapsed onto the bottom one resulting in the entire station and tracks to be closed off while reconstruction was taking place. This means that no trains can pass through this area. How would you reroute the trains?

    (:) trains run from Newkirk Avenue to Brighton Beach

    For Prospect Park, 7 Avenue and DeKalb Avenue, take the (Q) train.

    For Atlantic Avenue, Grand Street, Broadway-Laffayette and West 4 Street, take the (D) train.

    For 34 Street, 42 Street and 47-50 Streets, take the (E), (F) or (M) trains.

    For 7 Avenue-53 Street, go to 47-50 Streets and walk.

    (D) trains run via the (A) from West 4 Street to 59 Street.

    For 34 Street, 42 Street and 47-50 Streets take the (E), (F) or (M) trains.

    For 7 Avenue-53 Street, go to 47-50 Streets and walk.

    (E) trains run via the (M) from West 4 Street to 5 Avenue-53 Street

    For 14 Street, 23 Street, 34 Street, 42 Street and 50 Street, take the (C) train.

    For 7 Avenue-53 Street, go to 47-50 Streets and walk.

  8. There hasn't been a new route since 2 months ago so I made a route to post on here.

     

    The R110A Special!

    Between Grand Central-42 Street to Harlem-148 Street. Uptown only. It runs R110A's.

     

    It can be made because Track 4 still has a connection to the Seventh Avenue Line and there's a switch above 96th Street that it can use.
