Now LIRR riders can WiFi while they wait

The Long Island Rail Road introduced free wireless Internet access Wednesday in its waiting room at Penn Station, an effort aimed at enhancing the commuting experience for customers who use the area.

 

"This is another opportunity for our customers to have a better riding experience," said LIRR President Helena Williams.

 

The LIRR waiting room, which has space for about 70 people, is adjacent to the restrooms on the LIRR concourse.

I might have to take advantage of this. I wish (NJT) offered the same in their waiting areas.
