Here is a small pick of buses mainly in the CBD. Driver Bus Lines Is a smallish bus company operating 4 routes in the eastern suburbs along with the tourist shuttle. Bus 78(Denning Manufacturing Low Floor - Cat/Custom Coaches CB60 Evo II) peforms its duties as a Melbourne City Tourist Shuttle vehicle on the Latrobe Street. Also traveling over the Latrobe Street Bridge is bus #30(Volvo B10M MkIII/Volgren) on a special shuttle service to Waterfront City. Bus 43(Denning Manufacturing Low Floor - Cat/Custom Coaches CB60 Evo II) awaits to depart from the Harbour Town Shops to continue the shuttle around Melbourne. Bus 42(Denning Manufacturing Low Floor - Cat/Custom Coaches CB60 Evo II) turns into Flinders Street to arrive at stop 2. On board bus 42. Bus 65(Denning Manufacturing Low Floor - Cat/Custom Coaches CB60 Evo II) is a regular track bus filling in for a shuttle bus. Grendas Transit Management Grenda's is a the largest bus company in Melbourne operating 85 routes along with 3 NightRider routes from 5 depots in Melbourne's South and South East. At Dandenong Bus 149(Volvo B12BLE/Volgren "CR228L" awaits to depart on an 812 service while Bus 34(Volvo B10BLE/Volgren "CR221L" arrives to begin a 849. Also at Dandenong is bus 237(Mercedes Benz O500LE/ Volgren Perth "CR228L") sits in the layover. This bus now has Peninsula logos. Bus 279(Mercedes Benz O500LE/Volgren Malaysia "CR228L") awaits to begin a 849 service at Dandy. In Pakenham bus 275(Mercedes Benz O500LE/Volgren Malaysia "CR228L") travels over the rail line on a 926. In Airport West 8380(Volvo B7RLE/Volgren Malaysia "CR228L") sits at the terminus before begining a 902 service to Chelsea. The 902 Smartbus is currently the longest bus route in Melbourne. Traveling some over 80KM via the Eastern and Northern suburbs. The Smartbus routes are a series of routes with a bus every 15 minutes. Displays at most stops and on board announcements. Melbourne Bus Link Melbourne Bus Link is joint partnership between Dyson's and Reservoir Bus Companies. In Southbank bus 386(Scania L94UB/Volgren "CR227L") runs a 216 to Brighton Beach. Bus 312(MAN SL200/Ansair "Mk2") runs not in service over the Latrobe Street Bridge. This bus has been onsold to Torrens Transit in South Australia. Bus 393(Scania L94UB/Volgren "CR228L") turns into Flinders Street on a route 219. In Spencer Street bus 408(Scania L94UB/Volgren "CR228L") runs a 216 to Caroline Springs. Ventura Bus Lines/ National Bus Co At the Melbourne Central bus stop 914(Scania K230UB/Custom Coaches CB60 Evo II) runs a 201 to Westfield Doncaster. At Box hill 562(MAN 16.220/Designline "Orbitor") sits in the layover bay. Also in the Layover at Box Hill is 568(MAN 16.220/Designline "Orbitor") At Melbourne Central 523(MAN 15.220/Custom Coaches "CB30") runs a 201 to Doncaster Shoppingtown. Also at Melbourne Central is 543(MAN 15.220/Custom Coaches "CB30") runs a 251 to Northland. At Ringwood Station is 259(MAN SL200/Ansair MK1) prepares to run a 364. This bus is no longer in service.
