Ken S. 4 Posted May 9, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 9, 2008 Just a few reminders to passengers since the complaint line lady is telling people off and some of the train crews are doing the same thing. The TVM and MVM machines are designed to return up to $6 in change only. So you can't use a $20 or $10 bill to pay a $2 fare. New schedules take effect on 5/11/08 on all commuter lines with regards to severe schedule changes by NJT on the Morris & Essex Lines. A $5 surcharge applies to all regular fare tickets purchased on trains unless the TVM is broken or you are boarding at an NJT station with no agent or TVM. Please do not leave trash on the trains, buses, or subway. Shopping carts are prohibited on trains. A $10 charge will be applied to the transport of a cart on the train. Please fold all strollers and store them in the overhead racks on commuter trains.
