Reminder to all NJTA passengers

Just a few reminders to passengers since the complaint line lady is telling people off and some of the train crews are doing the same thing.

 

 

• The TVM and MVM machines are designed to return up to $6 in change only. So you can't use a $20 or $10 bill to pay a $2 fare.
  
• New schedules take effect on 5/11/08 on all commuter lines with regards to severe schedule changes by NJT on the Morris & Essex Lines.
  
• A $5 surcharge applies to all regular fare tickets purchased on trains unless the TVM is broken or you are boarding at an NJT station with no agent or TVM.
  
• Please do not leave trash on the trains, buses, or subway.
  
• Shopping carts are prohibited on trains. A $10 charge will be applied to the transport of a cart on the train.
  
• Please fold all strollers and store them in the overhead racks on commuter trains.
