20 Dundalk Posted June 21, 2011 Share #1 Posted June 21, 2011 I moved to Fort Worth from Baltimore in 1998 and started using Transit in FW several years later only 200 or less total buses Most are New Flyer 2000 -2005 30,35,or 40 footers low floor Cummins CNG except a small bunch of 2008 or so NABI low floor transit 40 footers and about 5 Nabi suburbans 40' unknown engines on the Nabis but they are CNG the few MCI (6 or less) are Diesel not sure on MCI engine type Nice clean buses that usualy show on time for the brief time they run...5 am to around 10 pm M-S and like 7am to7pm on Sun most lines run every 30 mins 2 lines run every 15 mins and a few are every 60 mins On Sun all lines run 60 mins our ridership does not really support closer headways everyone loves their cars too much a few years ago the T finaly got rid of their flx Metros that were being held together with duct tape Sad to see such fine buses neglected in that way Also a small fleet of New Flyer artics have been spotted in the lot but i have not yet seen them on the street Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
