Also known as the " Boris Bus " after the Lord Mayor Boris Johnson.These weird looking buses are set to become a common sight on London streets. The idea of the new Routemaster was to replace the iconic old Routemaster with a bus that everyone can identify as a symbol of London. I believe there are 12 in service running out of Arriva's Hackney Depot on the 38 route. Many more will be delivered this year and will be spread around routes that pass through Central London.
