Andy Posted April 1, 2014 Share #1 Posted April 1, 2014 Hey guys was the red paint scheme on the Lo-v's ever used in regular service? Not for a museum train. Thank you!
SubwayGuy Posted April 2, 2014 Share #2 Posted April 2, 2014 On Lo-V's, no. On the original Gibbs Hi-V cars, yes, but while similar in appearance, that was a completely different car class.

DJ MC Posted April 2, 2014 Share #4 Posted April 2, 2014 I believe the Composites also sported the same red paint scheme too. The Composites were the original cars built before the Gibbs cars and ran with the Gibbs cars on October 27th, 1904 when the subway opened up. Unlike the Gibbs, the Composites were wooden cars.
