Metro North tunnels may get cell service

 

Metro-North is looking to wire the commuter tunnel from Grand Central Terminal for cellular service, a spokesman said yesterday.

I really love when people's cell conversations get cut off when leaving NYP for trenton after sitting on the train for 10 minutes listening to them talk too loud about their divorce, their boring trip to paris, or their recent surgery. I am not a fan of commuter rail tunnel cell service, but it can be good for emergencies and keeping in contact with people you're meeting.
