More BM5 (and QM15, and what not)...


BM5 via Woodhaven

So, I use bustracker, and I was tracking the 12:52 PM BM5 from 63 Drive (and When it would get there) when I noticed this:

Now, for those that don't know what I'm talking about, the BM5 is slated to come half an hour after the QM15. The BM5 is in blue, and the QM15 in Brown. (The icon in front of the QM15 icon is a blue (inbound) icon).

 

The 12:52 bus passes (2232)

Then I still continue tracking the 12:23 PM QM15, already so late.

A minute or two after, the QM15 comes

After, I walk down to Metropolitan Avenue, to get some things done.

The 1:20 PM bus Metropolitan Avenue arrives several minutes late (but this creates a 90 minute gap, followed by a 30 minute gap)

I take the BM5 there, after stopping by at Bobs and Staples (free lemonade there is good)

Then I take 3246 Home (3246 is the same late 12:00 PM bus from Lindewood, which was 40 minutes late by the time it left Lindenwood, although it caught up (caught it at Park Avenue at 3:15 PM; otherwise I would take the 3:49 PM bus (which was a half-hour behind this one). I guess all the 6 Avenue riders gave up on the 15, because the 15 caught up to only 23 minutes behind schedule by the time it got to 57 Street (buses usually are there around 12 minutes late anyways, so they're used to the late buses and adjust).
