  1. Jesus, you guys need to stop getting on his ass about the Xcelsiors. It's been shown that riders gravitate more towards Xcelsiors than any other bus in the fleet, and what's the big deal that he likes them? Granted, he's a bit more vocal about it than the rest of us, but so what?

  2. I actually only had 1 class where I had a party. I was thinking about taking some of the food home, but then I'm like "Eh, I'll have to carry it home, and it's cake and cookies anyway, so I can live without it". Plus, I had to pick something up from the store anyway, so I just left it there. Some other students probably stopped by and ate the remainder anyway.

    Yeah, I was two minutes late to pick up some cupcakes and some other kid sniped them from me.

    ------------------

    Oh and by the way, I walked downstairs this morning, opened the fridge with the intention of eating a cookie, and do you know how many were left? TWO. It's a good thing I kept that box of Pop Em's in my room....

  3. Oh please... Those RTSs have seen their prime already a long time ago... Time to go already... The last time a rode an RTS in Brooklyn was on a B6 and it looked horrid inside... A 51XX if I recall correctly. I'm in Brooklyn regularly, least you forget that I'm from Brooklyn. <_< Anywho, the UP buses I tend to use regularly are the B4, B6, B64, X27, X28, though over the years I've used all of the UP lines, save the B74. I was down there a few weeks ago to be precise and make several trips down there each month.... I'm sure I'm more involved with bus service in Southern Brooklyn than you are and you still live there. <_<

    I ride '99 RTS's all the time, they're usually fine, but yet again, we have different standards.

    Uh excuse me, but there are MCI express buses that are 7 - 8 years old that are in pristine condition and they're far better than those new Prevosts which are utter garbage. Those RTSs and those ex-Bee Line buses should've been retired already.

    I don't go to Queens, so I can't comment on the status of the bees, but yet again, those RTS's are fine, and won't be retired with the next order.

    UP needs all of the new buses they can get, not more hand me down RTSs....

    What? So it would be better if they go to ENY or MHV? They have to go somewhere.

  5. Better be prepared for the mighty winds in the Rockaways, then. I found that out yesterday. And I had the common cold, too.

    Yeah, that's gonna be fun. Probably gonna wear two shirts. Or three.

    Oh, a story I forgot to mention;

    Ok, so I have 9 classes a day. On Friday I had 8. Half of them were parties. You see, what I do, is I take the "small remainder" that nobody wants, in addition to my regular samples. I also, take any food I didn't eat in one class, to the next class. At the end of the day, I had about 4 trays of cookies and chips I took home, along with 3 bottles of soda. Oh, and someone gave me an entire tray of cookies, and an unopened box of Pop Em's. And in addition to the above, I ate cookies all day since period 3, except for those two periods where I had a gobstopper candy cane. And also, I looked at something and said "Oooh, latkes!" Turns out they were just really, really, really, burnt cookies.

    On another note:

    Windows Media Player broke for an unknown reason. It's a good thing I got RealPlayer.

  7. Got a nice Kodak EasyShare M530 for Christmas! (My mom wanted to wait to give it to me, but my other video camera broke beyond repair a few weeks ago, and with my upcoming trip to the city with the (H) and whatnot, she decided to give it to me now.)

    Going to test it out tomorrow!

    It's great! It's a little odd that it saves in QuickTime Movie format, but that's not a problem!
