    NEXT:

Because of a police investigation the UPTOWN platform at Chambers Street (1)(2)(3) is closed off and trains cannot pass through (downtown side is fine). How would you reroute the trains?

I would probably just send the (1)(2)(3) up through the downtown side, even with the delays.

Tickets to Zone 1 are now $2 cheaper

    (7) Runs at half of its current headway and runs between Flushing and 74th St, setting up extended platforms so that 74th can be acsessed.

Add 1 extra car to all Queens Blvd and trains that stop at Atlantic Ave, and have it so that there trains pull up a half car up, so that all cars can be acsessed.

Port Washington branch trains run only to Mets-Witles Point.

28 St is impassable on the 1/2/3 line. Challenge: For each train per hour you leave in two sections, provide an equal number of extra trains per hour on a nearby line. Make sure passengers can easily transfer between the two lines somewhere. PS Avoid 2 via Lex as the East Side is over capacity as it is.

  4. I also saw an (R) going to Whitehall. Not sure if the other ones were because I took that one. And this morning there was a (5) that kept switching back between 7th ave & Lexington Ave. I looked on the express track and there was another (5) so that might be why. Don't know which one it took tough because I couldn't risk it and took the (4) that was right behind it.

  5. Saw the R188 @Corona signed as a <7>

Also I saw an R62 leave signed as a (6)

And later I saw R62's and a few redbird going OOS on the (7) towards Manhattan at about 82nd.

  9. In the original plans the (Q) was supposed to be extended up to 125 st along 2nd ave. Now that the (Q) was extended to Astoria... What now? Are they just abandoning the idea all together? Because it seems lie a very good idea to have two trains under 2nd ave, especially one going down 7th, so people won't have to transfer.
