  1. It good thing to use artics for shuttle buses. Glad the bus depots are helping out using the buses that usually stored in the yard that was not normally in use.
  2. Update again: There is no train service between 74 Street-Braodway and Flushing-Main Street in both directions. Shuttle buses are running between 74 Street-Broadway and Flushing-Main Street. Shuttle buses are now being provided. Limited 7 train service from 74th st-Times Sq. Still with the spelling error: Braodway!

  4. Service Change Posted: 02/19/2013 5:10PM Due to signal problems at 90 Street-Elmhurst Avenue, there are no trains running from Times Square-42 Street to Flushing-Main Street in both directions. Customers are advised to use the LIRR at 34 Street-Penn Station, Hunters Point Avenue, 61 Street-Woodside, Mets-Willets Point and Flushing. Please allow additional travel time. Really bad timing for the rush hour commuters. Why couldn't they run the from Times Square-61st woodside. As for the flushing section could they send a replacement bus if this continues from 61st- Flushing
  5. Yes they will be turning around like the . The will make all stops express service ends early
  6. trains and M4 buses provide alternate service Late Nights, 10 PM to 5 AM, Mon to Fri, Feb 25 - Mar 1 Service operates between Lefferts Blvd/Howard Beach and 168 St, making local stops. Service does not operate. trains make nearby stops between 168 St and 207 St. M4 buses make all stops between 168 St and 207 St. The train fastrack for the week of 25th.
  7. For the fastrack even it not yet posted yet but the MTA hinted in the broadway fastrack page "next fastrack" customers should use the and the M4 limited. So therefore the M4 limited will run overnight for this one.
  8. Does anybody knows why the fastrack is cancelled? I'm guessing there is too many GO's on that weekend.
  9. There is an GO for the Queens Blvd this weekend with the E/F trains running local northbound from 36th st to Roosevelt Ave I'm assuming that it to replace the rail that is keeping breaking. They really need to fix the rail
  10. It possible that after the crews finally fix the rail/switch whatever that the problem is. The trains would go not in service heading to the yard late night on the express tracks possiblity
  11. I hope the trackworkers can get it finished before the train GO begins because lots of people rely on the and the . I agree it was a mess today. When the arrived at 5th ave/53rd st at first it said Queens Blvd Exp then the sign flipped to Queens Blvd Lcl.
  12. Today after visiting MoMa I usually take the E/M to Court Square where I transfer to and when the E came it was totally packed and I noticed on the screen where they show the time about what is going on. I saw that the M is not running to Queens so that explained the packed E train I did not get in because no space at all. I walked all the way to Lex Ave/59th st got the noticed people were waiting for the seemed that they didn't know what was going on. It was a mess really.
  13. It was a mess on the train today MTA site didn't state anything except for signal problems @ 46th street stating that times square bound trains are running with delays. I waited at the Flushing bound train @ 33rd st and 3 manhattan bound 7 trains went by finally a flushing bound train arrived it was packed I couldn't get in. I waited 15 more minutes finally the train arrived. Later on it turned express for no reason after 74th street. I thought they was doing the midday work on times square bound tracks but I think signal problems caused it to cancel the work.
  14. I have a question since the will be terminating at 57th street/6th ave how will the F service will be running? Normal F service. Will it delay the service coming from Jamaica. Darn it! I was expecting an overnight service on the line!

Some northbound trains are terminating at 57 St Station. Some northbound trains are terminating at Chamber St Station. <--- FOAMER ALERT!!!! Please expect delays in , , and train service at this time. Still signal problems in the montauge tunnel Bay Ridge running with delays.
  16. For the 2 fastrack they will be running B44 limited service buses. I have a question: Since the 2 will be running to Utica Ave during this time..... What will happen to the 5 train service during the fastrack? Will the 5 cut back to the Bronx or Bowling Green until late night normal service shuttle? I think the 5 service to Brooklyn ends like 11pm so it possible that they will cut it to Bowling Green or run to New Lots Ave.
  17. Service Change Posted: 01/10/2013 8:57AM Due to signal problems at the Court Square Station, some southbound trains are running on the line between the 36 Street Station (Qns) to the 47/50 Streets-Rockefeller Center Station. Please expect delays on the , and trains at this time. Still?! That is some stubborn signals!

Southbound trains are running on the line between the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue Station to the West 4 Street-Washington Square Station. Please expect delays in the , and train service at this time
  19. Due to signal trouble at the Prospect Park Station, there is no train service from the Brighton Beach Station to the Bedford Park Blvd Station. There is shuttle train service from the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station to the Prospect Park Station in both directions. Northbound trains are running on the line from the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station to the DeKalb Avenue Station. Some trains are running local from the 59 Street-Columbus Circle to the 145 Street Station in both directions. Please expect delay in , , and train service at this time. What a mess!
  20. 21. For the Broadway fastrack they haven't released the service changes yet but it said that during that week of Broadway line fastrack it said the will end Brooklyn express service early running local in both directions from DeKalb to 36th street so I'm assuming that the will run express and terminate at Atlantic Ave or Metrotech.
  22. The LIRR is cross-honoring right now. Recently added
  23. Service Change Posted: 12/27/2012 8:33PM Due to a police investigation at 40 St Station, there is no train service in both directions between Court Sq Station and 74 St Station. As an alternate, customers are advised to use the Q32 bus. Please expect delays in train service at this time.
  24. I'm assuming it a precaution so the MTA can be ready for the storm. We might see more changes going on throughout the night.
  25. Due to a rail condition at the 81 Street-Museum of Natural History, downtown and trains are running local from the 125 Street Station to the 59 Street-Columbus Circle Station. train service suspended from the Euclid Avenue Station to the 168 Street Station. Please expect delay in and train service at this time. I still don't understand the point of suspending the C service. I understand there would be lots of trains on the tracks but seems silly to suspend the C. What about the Brooklyn C service and the 8th ave section downtown below 59th street?
