I think they going to tackle Chambers Street because it is in shambles. Lots of work needed to be done there. So we have to wait and see what the MTA does with it

Interesting that the MTA changed the and the from Service Change to "Sandy Reroute". That is much better than "Service Change"

Queens Blvd Line is always busy during rush hours. So therefore I agree with pjbr40. They need to complete the tasks before 5am or otherwise we got a big problem. I'm sure the MTA will send out uniformed crews at the affected stations to guide the confused passengers directing them to the buses offering alternatives. I'm sure they going to post signs that says "NO TRAIN SERVICE AT THIS STATION USE INSTEAD"

No they will not. The can handle it alone. It late night hours. Same thing with the handling the 8th ave crowds late night.

I was suprised that they are not splitting the service. Becoming almost like a shuttle. They will also provide extra service until 2:30am. Why they cannot provide additional service to pick up the service in Manhattan. The extra service could terminate at WTC (unless they going to do some track work @ WTC area.
