    Yeah based on a few math example i tried this morning, looks like if you have at least 43 right you might be still in the mix. 43 x 1.66 my only guess is if you got none or 5 wrong your in the high 90s - 100s. 4600 will be a long list that is after the BOSS exam has been giving out before they give us our actual score and list numbers.     Top pay is $20.40 projected $20.80 on year 2015. Ohh by the way 8yrs to reach top pay. Lets not get started on the health insurance and its cost.

    Yeah according to the folks that took 2613, they had to take the BOSS exam first before they were giving a list number. Which means the following people who took exam 4600 and passed will most likely receive a letter stating to take the BOSS exam. If you pass the boss exam then a list number will be giving to those who pass the boss exam.

     

    I believe 85% of people who took the exam 4600 passed, which means thats a lot of people. So in order to have a lock listing the boss exam will be the next step to cut down the eligible list. Many people believe its not possible to fail the boss exam but its possible if your answers are non consistance. I believe 4600 will probably last for 3 years or so and might be the last TA exam giving until 4600 either filled in or expires.

    DD, There will be lots of rules that people must read and adhere too in MTA, and reading VALID IN NY STATE as VALID NY STATE LICENSE will change the meaning of the statement.

     

    ok so let me ask you this....Are you currently working for MTA and if so on the day HR called you in, what state DL did you provide them?

    u need a ny license to get in the door. Did u not read the NOE he posted? The ppl with out of state license prob changed it once they had some yrs on the job. Y would mta put info on the noe and don't go by it?

    2. Some of you guys needs to take a chill pill. Instead of calling other people insulting name or what not, just remember most of us are aiming for the same thing. And if you are already employed by MTA , you were in the same place before you got hired when it comes to trying to get the right wuestions answers. This thread is for positive useful resource that others are sharing. I can only imagine how many of you will be place out of service when they do a check ride on you and test how you respond to customers.

    I bet some people here will still say that you are wrong, and you must have NY CDL in order to drive for MTA.

    Some of these people dont realy care for the answer, they just ask a question and start the flame waru need a ny license to get in the door. Did u not read the NOE he posted?     So if that's the case why do the notice of exammination for exam 2613 say u need a NY LICENSE? y don't it just say all u need a valid class b permit/license?

    first at least attempt to spell correct, snd yes you can have out of state licenses. I am a B.O. in staten island and a solid 10% maybe have NJ licenses. If you are still doubtful PM me ill take a copy of the bulliten.What didn't I spell correct? U need to take ya own advice & spell correct.

     

    Dre has a point. When you are called in you need a nys license. My father whos an operator states that you do need a nys license upon the hiring process, but most of the driver that has an out of state license are drivers whos been in the job for a long time. So best advice is upon hiring process you will need a nys driver license.

    All is well at the moment. Just playing the waiting game for the proposed answer key. 

     

    Also, keeping an eye on the Atlantic Express to Academy transition on the x23/x24 routes on Staten Island.

     

    I'm also thinking about when the BOSS exam will come up. I'm taking a gamble on one weekend in April. If the BOSS exam comes up then, i'm just going to forfeit the flight (less than $100 bucks).

     

    Ahhh I see. Yeah my gut is telling me late summer time some of us will take the BOSS exam and by 2015 they will start 4600 hiring process. Its all up to how fast 2613 list finish their process. But out of 100% maybe 50% will be hired if everything goes well.

     

    I took the BOSS exam for 3101, with my random list number being in the 8k I have more hope with 4600 being process quicker than mabstoa within the upcoming years.

And on the letter it stated that a BOSS exam will be giving to the following. And yesssss you can fail the Boss exam if your answers are not accurate to the first 3 repeated questions they ask 6-7 times but differently. I took exam 3101 and they ask a specific question on that exam 5 times.

    Its a competition, MTA will not hire all applicants. Only the best of the best that passes the different stages will be offered a position officially. You can score 99 on the exam and still dont make it to the final chapter

    First you will get as score, and based on that you will be given a list number. As they will need people , they will offer BOSS based on the list number.

    I have not hear of anyone failing BOSS. There is no right or wrong answer, and there is no score.

    Question regarding the Boss exam? Does the applicant have to apply for that or does the mta send you a notice for that exam?

     

    If you pass the exam, they will send you a letter to come take the BOSS exam. After the boss exam if you pass that, they will send you your test score and where you place on the list.
