  1. I agree with this proposal, because it actually can actually serve passengers that live on 9-11th, with the 12 going up 12th avenue for most (if not all of the route), it will not get much passengers, people don't need a bus that goes up there, worst case scenario they could walk to 10th from 12th.
  2. Speaking of school does anyone kniw if I could get a school metrocard for express bus?
  3. where did th x32 go, i mean i heard of all the other ones (pardon the errors typing wth one hand)
  4. I'll explain my reasoning Note: I do not live here so I do not know the needs of this exact neighborhood but I would think a direct connection to places where most people work is better than just "filling in the gap" when it comes to service
  5. Hi guys with the start of the new M12 service I would kike to bring my own proposal up because it actually brings a purpose to the route, now what I would do is have the bus have 10 min headways during rush hour and the route would be: SB: 57 st 5 Av 57 st 7 av 57 st 8 av 57 st 10 av Regular stops until 24 st Express to chambers via West Side West Side Chambers West Side Barclay West Side Albany Battery Pl Greenwich Trinity Exchange Pl Terminate NB: Trinity Exchange Pl Church Liberty Church Barclay Church Warren Chambers W Broadway Chambers West Side Express to 24st Regular stops till 34 st 34st 11 Ave 10 Av 35 st 10 av 38 st 10 av 41 st 10 av 44st 10 av 46 st 10 av 48 st 10 av 51st 10 av 53 st 10 av 56 st 57 st 9th av 57 st 7 av 57 st 6 av 57 st Madison Hope you like it guys all criticism is appreciated
  6. What if there were express buses that ran between outer boroughs or in the boroughs themselves (like X90 type but in outer boroughs) and basically used highways except for a couple of stops.
  7. Damn I hate when drivers play with the system, there was this guy yesterday who programmed his b36 as in serviceon the farebox so he would show up on bus time to the supervisors while he had not in service on the manual and was hiding behind his leader jeez what a moron
  8. Wow today is the first time im riding a bus thos month..
  9. What about yanking the 5 off Flatbush and sending it to new lots (express to utica local afterwards) and the 6 to Flatbush
  10. Hi guys i took a break in transit and now im back, I want to ask and this probably has been answered but is the X21 starting up in the next pick and when is that pick going to be
  11. Hey I have a question today I saw a Nova LFSA from Flatbush (didn't catch the #) going not in service on oriental blvd, was this done to test if the artics could turn around at the terminus of the 1/49 in case they wanted to add artics to the route or was this bus doing a regular run? If it was doing a regular run does that mean FB has a shortage that they need SBS buses to keep providing service
  12. Ik who your talking about the guy does a run on the B1 first last time I asked him to change the sign to B69 (Y'all know why )
  13. I would link the singles into 5 cars for shuttle service and other various late night services, some of those lines don't need 10 cars at night
  14. Ik that the thing is buses use the portion from the city to Knapp st to deadhead to/from the BM3 and BM4 all the time
  15. Wow thats so weird most of the drivers I get on the BM3 are not like that some of thwm are too much by the book, like when I was the only passenger and the guy wouldn't go through belt pkwy ( I needed Bedford) but I don't blame him for that. I have never noticed SC drivers to pull that kind of shit, maybe I have not been riding long enough I only started riding last year
  16. @Culver there are plenty of ex-AE buses that have rear windows like 6666 for example that are on the Academy fleet
  17. Aren't those silver van hools ex Atlantic Express buses?
  18. 1. Why would you reroute the last time I checked Brighton was still fine 2. Why would you run the all the way around just extend the to Coney Island 3. Same thing with the why do you need to run it all the way around so people have a one seat ride? Thats malarkey once again the N is fine at Coney Island
  19. @B35 only on the express bus I am not such a germaphobe on local bus/subway I would never do that. I remember when I was young I asked my mom if I could get STD's riding on the train before I knew what it was
  20. I have to agree with you there 5 seats is way too much
  21. You fail to notice me saying that when im on the express bus I take my shoes off and ny socks are clean I guarantee you that. And I completely agree with you that stretching out is unacceptable, IF there is someone in the vicinity
  22. In that case since we are on the shitting on byses path cough cough BxM4 cough I hate riding low floors in general I like RTS's the best But here is the thing @BM5 on off peak express buses no one ever rides let alone police officers if someone wanted to sit there because the bus was fulll or it was a beautiful woman I would say sure but if there are 50 seats available and no one is getting on I can stretch out
  23. Ok @VG8 I only do that if there is no one back there even if there is someone back there but not sitting next to me I still put my feet down. 2nd there have been occasions where I sat down into something nasty so I make sure if my shoes arent dirty then I put em up and ik what you will say that they can never be clean and shit but if I have dirty 5 year old shoes then I difently dont put em up, and please like you never stretch out in the back of an express bus if there is no one on the bus I like to stretch out on the back seat and nap which I would suggest you do there is no law against it
  24. When the LFS' s were in Ulmer and I would ride them consistently what I liked the most was the fact that if you sat in one of the pair of seat facing the other pair in the back one could put thier feet up and be comfortable but as in the new LFSA order they are probably going to do away with that at the new order
