I got my call back today to come in for the medical this Friday. My list # is 27##. Looking forward to having everything go well!

Thanks Success7. Just hating the fact I have my 21 page booklet, all filled out & just waiting for the chance to bring it in. Waiting 5 years to get to this point, makes me a little anxious to get things started. Patience is a virtue.

I know the feeling. I had that booklet filled out in February. Before you know it you will be getting that call that you have been waiting for.

I went down for final processing today, start school car on the 28th. Yes, there are 40 T/O's per class.

I went down for final processing today, start school car on the 28th. Yes, there are 40 T/O's per class.  Went down today and it went fast was there for about 5 hours and then got the start date. The next class is on the 28th and they seem to be moving fast. But it seems like it's one class a month right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Congratulations to both of you. The 40 T/0's will break down into 4 separate classes. They actually ramped up the amount of T/O's they are bringing in per month. There were only 30 of us and 40 C/O, I think, when I came in. Broke down into 1 B Division and 2 A Division T/O classes.

I'm very curious to hear how hiring is proceeding and how fast they're moving through the list.

Do they slow down school car during the summer months?

Went down today and it went fast was there for about 5 hours and then got the start date. The next class is on the 28th and they seem to be moving fast. But it seems like it's one class a month right now.

Just got the call for the medical! This dream is finally starting. List number 260#

Does anyone have an estimate of what list number they've reached for the initial drug test?

 There were ppl on here saying they got the first letter this past week. in the low 3###

Was there any movement for the week? LeonDoub, Hopeful TO and 3rd Rail, did you'll get a phone call?

Nothing yet but i was thinking it would be in July anyway. I hope we all get a call in the next few weeks. Does anyone know if the class in July is in the middle of the month?

After urine test is there one more drug test? Would that be the last one?

Well i took my first DT in FEB. but my list number never came up #260!. So i had to go back again on 6/6 to retake the DT again because it had expired. 

I was there today, I believe I got called due to being a veteran and receiving credit . That's the only thing I can think of, I did the lab and got the 21 page booklet. How long do you think before I'm called again? Is there a second drug or medical test?

Some ppl had to retake the DT because the 3 months had past. When they call you for the medical then you know you made it to the last step

Well got a letter to report to Livingston on 6/12. Problem is that I have to leave for California on Tuesday night.

If I don't go to Cali I might lose my job.

Can I postpone this date, I realize I might have people jump ahead if it can be delayed, but I'm afraid on

taking a chance on loosing my salary and medical benefits from my present firm.

I see some people here are waiting months before they get called back.

 

Any advice?

I would call them first thing Monday morning and explain your situation to them. Yea I would hate to lose my job for a job you don't have.

lol so true. When you start going down there on the clock, your use that to your advantage to miss out on working most of  that day 

I know lol. There was a few down there like you can go in front of us. They were in no rush to get back to work.

I will post FRI after going through the second D/T and physical examination.

I missed it in the letter.... I thought it was for the second D/T only. I guess it will be physical as well.

 

 

Even though the letter says medical, it's really the second drug test only. You will see this when you go Friday. Medicals get phone calls. I did my second drug test today.

What's crazy is my list number is 2602 guessed I had months to go. Unless ppl in front of me failed the dt or didn't take the job. I took the dt back in Feb hour it's not for the dt all over again.

Interesting. I know a few people in the early 2500's who haven't gotten anything, including myself. I'll be watching the mail.
