  1. FML! Guess I could stop(for now) rushing to my phone every time my email alert goes off.
  2. I took the first Oct. 5 and the second Jan. 20
  3. Nothing yet. 99* waiting patiently, but checking every email hoping it's the "one"
  4. The exam list expires in 2018. I wouldn't worry unless someone with a higher number says they've taken their drug test and you still haven't.
  5. Your calculations are a bit off. 500 range is the list number they are up to, not the number of people they hired. What you need to do is find the average list numbers processed per hire, i.e. for a class of 30 new hires, they might go through 100 list numbers.
  6. Valuable and potentially life saving information right here. Thank you for taking the time to post. Everybody is worried about benefits and salary, but it ain't worth shit if you're six feet under.
  7. My brother sent me a text yesterday saying he was sitting in the emergency room and told me they brought in someone who got hit by a train, and his arm and legs came in a separate bag. That got me thinking. Does the MTA release injured worker data? Besides the metal dust and crap you're breathing in, I'm curious how dangerous the job really is.
  8. No updates from DCAS yet. Considering MTA has a class date already set and the amount of applicants needed to fill the class, I would assume we should get an update soon. Someone mentioned they had to go in for their first appointment and his list number was in the 270s. That was the last update we had.
  9. Doesn't make sense that they are disqualify people for moving violations since you don't even need a license to qualify for the exam. Must be more to it?
  10. We can only wait and hope for the best. Hopefully the recent change of events doesn't push you too far back on the list. Best of luck.
  11. I'm sure it'll be a significant delay if they have to redo the list. The only positive about the situation is if you scored higher than the people who received unearned points, you should get a lower list number.
  12. I just heard from a friend who's list number is 100-110 and he just received a notice for his physical. Hopefully the list continues to fly by. Best of luck to all. gvs75: no one knows for sure. I was told it went by filing date, but that info could be false.
  13. Was there an official announcement when 5016 expires? I saw no reference to it in the 5016 thread and activity seems to have died down on the thread as well.
  14. I'm going to comb through the thread. Thanks again.
  15. Thanks for the update YoungNYC. Best of luck to everyone on the list. Does anyone know how many people were called from the previous track worker list?
  16. Sorry I forgot to mention I got 1 wrong on the exam. I believe it was 97.5%.
  17. The list is finally out. Call dcas 212 669-1357 for your list number. I'm 990 out of over 12,000
