Artic 6005 is no longer in the yard @ Cumnmins, not sure if it's inside their shops or returned to CDTA for service. Also 9913 is still in service, appears as if this one could be the last of the group but I still have not given up on 9917 yet. Also yesterday 6093 and 6163 were both seen in service on Schenectady's long route on Central Avenue.   

Artic 6005 is out of service @ the Cummins Dealership on Railroad Avenue here in Albany.

Anybody know the whereabouts of D-Type Unit 6112 ?  On the recent museum fan trip 6095ABC ran with AB's 2390-2391-2392.

Having been in this hobby for over 50 years, it never seems to amaze me at the stupidity at MTA/NYCT. Whether it's scrapping first [ buses or trains] and ask questions later and now it's the fact that they seem to be buying more and more artics yet when the weather gets bad with snow/sleet/ice they are the first buses that are taken off the roads in favor of the standard size buses. Can anybody explain to me the rational behind their logic ?

Update on Out of Service List: 9907, 9910, 9939-9940. Only 2 left in service by my count: 9913 & 9917. Sad

There were reports that the AB Standards & D-Type 6112 had problems @ The Parade of Trains. Anybody have more information ? Thanks in advance.

Update to yesterday's LFS Nova Status:  9907 is Out of service in the back yard, and now there are three in service: 9917, 9939-9940 of which I saw all three this morning in service.

The only 4 active LFS Nova Buses that I have seen lately are: 9907, 9917, 9939-9940.

Update: Artic 6008 is in service. Gillig 4150 does have a rear camera.

Sorry to Report, but all 5 of the Low floor Nova Buses that were out back are GONE. I hope they have been bought by some transit property and will have a second life elsewhere. Thankfully, they are not in the junk yard next door to their Albany garage.

Gillig 5517 Bus Plus, has been Retrofitted with a Rear View Camera, I was in back of it yesterday evening.

Happy to report that 9940 is also alive and well in service.

Add 9913 to those still in service.

Add 9924 to the list of those still in service.

LFS Nova Buses Out of Service as of this date = 9916, 9920, 9923 & 9935. The only 2 that I have still seen in service lately are 9907 & 9917

The 6008 that i saw was brand new in service. I could not tell you how long it's been on the property. Sad to say that there are now 3 LFS Novas--Out of Service in the back. Will try to get numbers this week. It's getting harder and harder to find them in service.

Only 2 of the 5 Out Of Service LFS Novas remain out back, 3 were removed yesterday. Not sure of there whereabouts.

New Artic In Service 6008.

All Bus Plus Gilligs 5500-5517 do not have rear view cameras. I have yet to see 5518 in service.
