  1. This was postponed from the April pick, however the Q70 SBS now runs on Woodside Avenue instead of Roosevelt Avenue in the southbound direction. It is also an official articulated route now.

    There is no code for the B99 also, all buses say "H" rn

  2. TUNNEL/TRACK BUILDING

    In effect from Friday, July 31st, 10:30PM to Monday, September 6th, 5:00AM

    To prepare for the anticipated "Queensway" project, we must build new tunnels and tracks, and we cant do that while service is running. To minimize your disruption, we have prepared special alternatives to provide you with service

    (E) trains are running in 2 sections: from World Trade Center to Queens Plaza, then running local to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue, the last stop, and between Forest Hills and Jamaica Center

    (F) trains are running from Coney Island to Jackson Heights, and between Forest Hills and Jamaica-179th St

    (R) trains are running between Bay Ridge-95th Street and Lexington Avenue-59th Street, and via the (N) line to/from Ditmars Blvd

    (W) service is suspended 

    (M) trains are running between Metropolitan Avenue and Essex St, and via the (J) line to/from Chambers St

    Free Shuttle buses are running between Jackson Heights and Forest Hills

    LIRR will cross honor between Jamaica and Penn Station

    Please allow Additional travel time

  4. I can confirm that the swap is also being done with layups in CI Yard

    5644-5642/5788-5786 operated a (F) to Kings Highway in the morning (i saw and recorded this train), then same say afternoon another person caught this set on the (N) at 57th St during the PM rush.

    Crazy how quick this swap is moving now huh?

  6. TRACK REPLACEMENT
    Jan 17 - 20, Fri 11:15 PM to Mon 5 AM
    (1) Service between Dyckman St and 137 St in Manhattan is replaced by   trains and free shuttle buses 


    (1) trains run in two sections: 
      1. Between South Ferry and 137 St
      2. Between Dyckman St and 242 St

     Buses run along three routes, making station stops on the  line:
      1. Dyckman St between (1) and (A)(C) stations  
      2. St Nicholas Av between 191 St and 168 St.
      3. Broadway between 168 St and 137 St.

    Use (A) (C) trains for service to/from nearby stations in Washington Heights.

    • Transfer between (1) and (A)(C) trains at 59 St-Columbus Circle.
    • Transfer between (1) trains and  buses at 137 St or Dyckman St. 
    • Transfer between (A)(C)  trains and  buses at 168 St or Dyckman St (A)(C) stations.
