Good point. I rely on Transsee and have seen a few buses not moving for long weeks despite no claims of retirement or being OOS. Then Transsee showed activity of these units, but it is often the case that the map Transsee show does not match the description. However, I am not aware of any other tool available to regular fanners not in any way affiliated with the MTA. It there anything else? I need a tool which retrieves information based on bus number, not a route or stop number.

There appears to be another unnamed website which can track the locations of buses that are not on a specific route.

MHV only has 1 on the base left if I stand correct: 6724

    MCH has left: 6706, 6757, 6760-6761, 6765, 6770-6771, 776, 6778-6779, 6782-6783, 6785-6786, 6789 (16)

    MQ:  6700, 6711, 6717, 6726, 6732-6733, 6735-6738, 6740, 6743-6747, 6750-6752  (20)

Has 6709 been retired from MHV? If not, they still have two OGs left.

Don't mean to go off topic, but what the heck is an M60 doing in Soundview?

Also, if the (MTA) really wants to save on costs, I highly hope they revert to the old scheme. The new gold scheme costs somewhere between $9k-$11k for one.

Seems like it was a foreshadowing codebreak, as the bus was still out of Kingsbridge at the time.

Oh, so then I can imagine buses that have been all over the city having many stickers overlapping each other lmao. Now that you mention it, I think there was a NG from Yukon that was transferred to Manhattanville that still had a Castleton logo underneath... 😂

I think that was 4260. I saw it with a Manhattanville sticker in February 2020, then with a Castleton sticker in June 2020.

Edit: I also recall D4500 2895 having portions of an Ulmer Park, a Meredith, and a Castleton sticker.
