Don’t listen to that person I was in the same situation and I’m now a operator. The ticket will show on your abstract but MTa themselves don’t count it if it’s 3 years or more from the date you received the ticket not the date you were convicted. So you will be good Jan 2019.

Ok so whenever it’s 3 years from the day you received the ticket. They won’t count it. I think you can’t have more than 4 points. The day you were convicted doesn’t matter

They count tickets up until 3 years from the day you were issued the ticket so you either have to wait til Jan 2020 for the first ticket to not be counted. Or fight this second ticket but when you schedule a court date it probably won’t be until a year from now anyway.

First day you jus sit in a room and fill out paperwork then at the end they tell you which depot your gonna go to for your 7-10 day training. It’s gonna be a lot to take in because they give u only 7-10 days but just pass and even when u first start it’s gonna seem crazy but you will get it and then it’ll become easy.

You can find parking in the area. It's not easy but u can find parking on the side blocks.

Try to get a lawyer and have him get your points reduced on ya court date and pay a higher fine. Your saying you received the ticket last august and your court date is this august? @hope27

Points don't affect your point count after 18 months but it stays on your abstract for 3 years. And it counts from the day you got the ticket not the day you were convicted and paid. @hope27. But if you have 4 points or less on your abstract your good. So after my points clears and makes 3 years on June 24 , I have a pending ticket for 3 points which I'm jus gonna go online and change my plea to guilty and pay. Originally I plead not guilty online and had a court date in September. I'm jus gonna go back online and you can change your plea to guilty. I'm jus gonna take the 3 points.

Same with me. I had a suspension that I cleared for failure to answer a summons in may 2015 but they didn't say that was a problem. I went last week but the only problem was that I have 5 points from a ticket I got June 24 2014 so I gotta wait til June 24 next month when it makes 3 years since the date I got the ticket. And also u can't have any pending moving violations. No more than 4 points on your license.
