  1. I had emailed them on the 7th. this was on the auto response. "Please be advised that the answer key has been delayed for exam 4700 Promotion to Train Operator. If you sent an email inquiring about the answer key, you will receive an update when the answer key becomes available."
  2. Kindly have her reach out to DCAS via email and request to have her name restored to the certification for future hiring. The email address is LMACustomerService@dcas.nyc.gov. She will need to add her full name, last 4 digits of your SSN, Exam #, list #, and a brief statement requesting to have your name restored back to the Conductor list.
  3. With the new 3 year contract about to take effect I figured I'd update the pay rates. Starting pay $25.05 2nd year $26.84 3rd year $28.62 4th year 30.42 5th year 32.21 6th year top Pay $35.79 as of 2023 2024 Top Pay $36.8625 2025 Top Pay $38.1550
  4. I sent a email to reinstate my name on 8/19/21, I was then called to 180 Livingston for pre-employment on 8/26/21. I started school car on 9/13/21. I had no wait for "next certified list" or was I just lucky with perfect timing..
  5. Overtime is time and a half and depends on years of service. Here is the regular rates. Entrance $24.32 2nd year $26.06 3rd year $27.79 4th year $29.53 5th year $31.27 6th year $34.74 You also asked about a cleaner position being offered to some on this exam. Yes, that does happen. I talk with a cleaner who took the cleaner offer. According to him his number was very high. So it's possible that cleaner gets offered to those with conductor list numbers that are unlikely to be reached.
  6. Looks like they scheduled a conductor exam 3708 (promotional) on the list of upcoming exams. Application period from 11-1 to 12-15. I wonder how that will impact this list.
  7. For me it was fast. I sent the email to LMACustomerService@dcas.nyc.gov on 8/16/20. On 8/23/20 I received an email I was restored to the list. I started school car on 9/12/20.
  8. This link has the info for this year with many positions. http://www.twulocal100.org/sites/twulocal100.org/files/pay_rates_2019-2023_highlighted.pdf
  9. Training for me looked like this: Day 1: was Orientation online meeting. Probation is 1 year from this day unless it gets extended. Day 2: through 4 was at P.S 248 on the PM tour. About 55 of us at the 3rd floor gym Week 2 and on : broken up into small classes. I was on PMs, we met at terminals/reporting location and did class for about 1/2 the day then on a train in a nearby yard. This goes on for about 6 weeks. Once you passed everything and are released to the crew ooffice you are XX and anything goes. Everyone in my class had different tours, days off and train lline's. Whichever tour you have on Sunday will be the tour for the rest of the week. You will need to call on Fridays to get the following weeks tour and days off.
  10. I just want to clear up the pay scale. This is the last year of the contract. I started 9/13/21 and my pay is $23.67, not $24.33 as pinned above. $24.32 will be the starting pay in May. Here is the breakdown Current pay schedule Dollar Amt. Night Dif Entrance $23.6731 0.9586 2nd year $25.3640 1.0271 3rd year $27.0549 1.0956 4th year $28.7459 1.1640 5th year $30.4368 1.2325 6th year $33.8187 1.3695 Pay as of May 16th 2022 this year Entrance $24.32 2nd year $26.06 3rd year $27.79 4th year $29.53 5th year $31.27 6th year $34.74
  11. I don’t know why but I feel more anxiety about this road practical tomorrow than I did for any other exam or test. I’m sure it will go well but the fact that it’s a one shot deal is probably what makes me feel that way. Good luck tomorrow!
  12. You can go to the social security office and request a lifetime abstract which would give you where you worked, and what year. The New York State court officers required candidates to go obtain this. It's a really easy way to know where you were and what year.
  13. Thank you so much for this information. Lastly, is there any particular way to dress? Or is this a non formal event?
  14. I received a text and a phone call with an automated system saying.. "New York City Transit is considering you for a Conductor position and invites to our facility at M T A New York City Transit 1 8 0 Livingston Street 5th floor, Brooklyn NY, 1120" It said to check my email for details but I didn't receive any email. Can anyone give me some insight on what to bring/what to expect? I recently reinstated my name on the list, my list numbers in the 2,200s
  15. Good morning, I’m looking to reinstate my name on the list. Is there a number I can reach out to? I sent an email on Sunday Lmacustomerservice@dcas.nyc.gov and I never got a response. Thank you!
  16. I received the email and I'm currently not interested in the job. However, that may change in the near future. How can I put this on hold so I can reactivate myself if necessary in the future?
  17. Well they will use the list number two separate people with different scores. But unless I’m missing something it looks like if you have the identical score you are treated almost equal.
  18. From what appears to be evident, they are processing 2000 people to fill 200 positions. Clearly your number is above 2000. Was your score a 96.25? We have people with that score with list numbers that range from below 2000 to above 2000. The only thing I can think of is maybe they’re treating people with the identical scores as equals as opposed to using the list number. That would mean that the randomly picked from that bracket to meet there 2000, since taking a whole bunch of people with a 96.25 would put them well over the 2000 people they’re looking to start processing. It would explain why some people with list numbers around 1800 did not get an OPA yet someone like myself did with over 2200 Judging by what people reported here. The score of 96.25 as a list number ranged from about 1500-2400. Can anybody point to some data that contradicts this thought?
  19. This confuses me. We have the same score 96.25. However, my list number is over 2200 but I took the OPA back in Nov. How come I took the OPA and you did not with the same score in a better list number?
  20. I was scheduled for 2 PM oct 4th. I almost feel like calling to inquire on why my date was changed.
  21. I just received a revised letter for the OPA. Previous date was October 4th the new date is November 1st. Has anybody else had a change of date?
