  1. They showed you pictures of a safety crime scene and asked what could have been done or used to avoid an accident . I'm not sure if I'm allowed to actually tell what was on the interview test per se , I don't know if they monitor this forum . So like I said above , they show you a picture and then ask you a question . I'll give you a scenario type without actually telling you what the question(s) were . Hypothetically speaking . . . If I show you a picture of a crowded subway car in the station and the person has his/her arm stuck in the door but their body is on the platform , they'll ask what could have been done to avoid this situation ? That's how the questions/pictures are posed to you . So a correct answer might be , they person should have not stuck their arm in the door and they should have waited for the next train .There are no A,B,C,D answers , it's all verbal . Got it ? !
  2. No drug test yet . I only did the safety assessment interview .
  3. Does anybody know how long , after the Safety Assessment Interview , does it take for them to notify you if you passed and move on to the medical ? A week , 2 weeks ?
  4. Well I took the safety assessment today . It's nothing more than they show you a few pictures and ask what could be done safer or to prevent an accident . I'm not sure what answers they were looking for , but I answered the 10 questions the best I could according to each photo . As for the time on your letter , you can disregard that . It's pretty much first come , first served and they call you in groups of five . I had a 12pm appointment and I got there at 10:45 am and I was number 59 . So I would suggest go there as early as you can to be first and get it over with . There were two men doing the interview and they didn't say whether or not I passed or failed that portion . They simply ask you questions and record your answers on tape . If I'm not mistaken , they had given out at least 90 numbers . I guess I'll have to wait to see what the mail brings . Win , lose or draw , the $61 is GONE ! LOL
  5. I went to 180 Livingston Street this morning to verify if the Safety Assessment was indeed given on a Sunday . The lady at the window said " YES ." The trains are slow/run local by me on weekends . There's a parking lot right on the same block/corner and they ONLY CHARGE $12 on Sunday . I'll be driving and parking there .

  7. I don't do drugs , I would like to know what kind of drug test is given ? I ask that because I usually sport a bald head . I went in for NYPD School Safety drug test and was told to come back in a month when I grow some hair . So I'm asking is the drug test urine or hair samples ? Thanks
  8. I got my letter the other day . It says come in 3/18/18 a Sunday .
