Sigh.... Yea i let my frustration get the best of me this past Friday when i made that stupid "well take me off the list" statement. I tried calling all day today to no avail. If i do have to restore my name it'll just be my 2nd time so I'm good, I'm wondering since i was just waiting for final processing would i only have to do that part when my name gets called again? 🤔 Hopefully that won't be the case and they'll tell me that "everything is good, and my name is still on the list"

I did something stupid.... out of pure frustration and discouragement, I called Yolanda and told her to "take my name off the list" and she said she would let St Jean know. I was just sooo pissed and emotional at this whole process smh

I'll call Monday again to see if i can rectify and reverse my statement and continue on with this exhausting process.

Only "Excuse" the guy gave me was "it's alot of applications" and "They have to place a cap on how many people are in the 9/25 class and "he's going a fast as they can"... blah blah blah. You would think since i was emailed to come in for medical/fingerprints on 9/8 I'd be given some kind of priority and others like me. If the it goes past 10/8 i would have to take ANOTHER drug test because it's past 30 damn days. I've heard people giving up when they hit this kinda annoying road block.... im trying not to be one, but I'm so pissed and frustrated 😤 

Wow! Looks like I'll have to possibly take a 3RD freaking drug test smh. I may not get into the 9/25 class even tho all i have to do is final processing and even tho i was supposed to do it on 9/8, instead all i did that day was my medical and then a 7 HOUR wait to do my 2nd drug test. This whole process is so discouraging and aggravating omg....

Nice man! Congratulations finally getting through that process. I did my 2nd Drug test and Medical on Thursday. But still have to do the fingerprints and paperwork part smh. They told me I'm still gonna be in the September 25th class so we'll see.

Yes ofcourse! Thank you.... im on track to be in the September 25th class. I still have to go back to 180 to finish day2 processing and fingerprints smh

Been here since 630am for day2 and my Medical was done at 1230p (I was qualified 😊 ) but had to do drug test AGAIN! Cause class starts after the 30days since the last one. It's now 410p and NOBODY has been called since 1pm. Room of 15+ applicant's waiting for labs.... This is so wrong and dirty to do people who wanna work for you smh

Just received email to come in for medical on September 8th! I did DayONE on August 22nd. Originally canvassed in mid March but had to restore my name to the list ( I'm list 3××). So if all goes well with DayTWO medical and fingerprints I'll be in the September 25th class! Wow 3 years in the making. Almost there! Good luck everyone.

Well Thursday was officially day 3 since i tool the drug test and turned in Application. Does anyone know if upcoming classes has been approved and scheduled by Transit yet??

Well i went in today for day 1 at 12pm. Application went good, even with a prior termination ( they said their more so looking for if you got fired for something criminal or extreme) but drug testing capped while waiting so i at almost 4pm i was told to come back on Wednesday to get drug tested. I saved my application electronically just in case.

@N3Gro Hey buddy you just up and disappeared. Did everything work out with the review? I hope it did and that you're driving now. I didn't see any updates from you on the matter. I hope it all worked out Man! 😊

For those who have done the day 1 process. How did the Employment history part and the termination part go? Were they very strict about that? I have 10 jobs I've had since High School and 3 of them are permanently closed. I've been fired from 1 of my 10 jobs. So I'm abit nervous. 😒😔

Nice!! Yes let's go! From what I've seen from previous post's it seems like it's a 3 week process from the 1st day of pre employment to 2nd day medical to 1st day of training. So hopefully we'll all start Training some time early/mid September. So excited!!! 😊

I'm list number 3××. I had my name restored when i missed the 1st appointment back in March.

They're starting again with hiring! I just got the email to come in this month for day 1 of pre employment. So excited, especially since i missed my first appointment back in March.

I just saw a Training Bus in Brooklyn that said "NYC Transit" on it? 😳

They are hiring for the Fall. That's what the Email said. Meaning probably not till Early September

I finally made it back to NYC after 3 years and there is a hiring freeze at the moment 😫😫 too bad i wasn't ready in March when i first got emailed to come in.... Oh well. The wait will be worth it! Can't wait! @AprilCakes How is everything going so far?? 😊
