@vioreen  Queens Blvd is getting CBTC and thus the R160s that ran on the N, Q and W lines had to be transferred to Jamaica Yard in exchange for R46s. 

Imo, The R32s fit the  so much better than the R46s. That stretch going northbound from 59-125 all depends on the T/O but the R32s weigh less so that's a reason to go faster lol. The R179s fit the  over tHE R46s too Imo

Just drove by and saw only a single R46 parked in the Jamaica Yard amongst numerous R160s. Those of you looking to catch your last clips get em in this week.

2 sets of R46s are running today. I like the idea of the R32/R46 on the C as opposed to all R179s. R179s work fantastic on the A though

R179s on the A really don't get speedy between 59th and 125th. T/Os can't even hit 40 after 103rd 

Anyone know the official date for CBTC to go in effect on the QBL? All the Coney Island R160 sets are on the E/F and all the R46s on the F & some on the R have been transferred to the N/W

I was a 42 St - Port Authority yesterday and only saw R46s and R32s.... any idea when the R179s will enter service again?
