Does anyone know if we’re allowed to park inside the queens village depot or we have to look for parking, and if we do is it difficult to find parking?

I want to report that I passed as well today on day 7, very excited and was easier than I thought. By day 4 in Brooklyn area training I already had it down, when we went to upper East/west side Manhattan on Sunday day it was actually easier thank Brooklyn since there wasn’t much traffic. 
 

And then downtown from 34 and Lexington to union square area was fairly easy as well, no crazy turns or anything. Was a little bit harder as traffic was building up but again like the pro’s here advised us to go slow and this gives you time to react, keep your eyes on the mirrors like glue and you’re good. Congrats to all that passed and good luck. I guess we’ll see each other tomorrow at queens village.

Day 7 is up to the Superintendent (just like Day 1), however chances are it will not be in Manhattan. Only Days 5 and 6 are in Manhattan.

However, Day 7 will consist of the pre-trip inspection. If you need help preparing for this, click here. The last two images contain the "checkoff" list, and a few of the other images will help you with the pre-trip as well.

Thanks Young, ended up being the same route as day 6, super said day 6 was pretty much a pretty test so if you did good that day you would pass on day 7.

I wonder if we will do the same route as we did today in Manhattan starting from 34 and Lexington ave. Can anyone chime in?

@mertd93 hey yes, day 7 was yesterday and my whole class qualified. They sent me to queens village depot today to train on the nova bus and new flyer bus at jfk airport. So far so good. How are things for you? Where are you at in this process again? 

Wow big congrats!!! I’m just starting the  9/13 class haha,  how fast do you get the hand of it, day 3 or 4? I know it varies from person to person of course.

Can anyone share what the 1st day consists of at zerega, what paperwork need to fill out and stuff? 

I completed the final phase of the hiring process yesterday, took picture and fingerprints. I’m officially starting the 9/13 class! Very excited...

@Biggington congrats, I Can’t relate ☹️ My doc said my ekg was border line abnormal and it’s best to put me on hold to see a specialist, meanwhile my ekg from my primary a couple weeks ago was fine. Oh well sucks but it is what it is.

Congrats, just got Email today to report thur 9/3 to complete to final phase of the process, fingerprints and photo. Starting the class of 9/13 myself. See you there!

Yes I think you’re right, this makes sense, I don’t mind if I’m in the October class, that’s fine too.

i saw it happened to the guy in front of me and was asked to come back while they were processing my papers to be set for the next class 09/13.  

So this means they pick and choose people , if you pass the medical why you don’t go to the next step for paper processing.

They didn’t say exactly how many days in advance, looks like me and this other guy in front of me kind of got played, will just wait patiently for that email. I though the same that we would do fingerprints yesterday, that’s what the email said to bring in all that paperwork and money order but then they switched it to medical.

I first did urine test in the morning followed by hearing, height/weight, blood pressure, ekg, vision and then after the doctor cleared me wit the passing paper they made me do a 2nd urine test. After that I went back to window 3 and lady said I’ll be on the 9/13 class but in case it’s full might be the October class but then they’ll make me do urine test again. 

I just passed medical myself this morning and lady told me I might be in the 9/13 class. Was 4 other guys there but nobody overweight, I’m pretty sure they passed as well. Will wait for the email when to show up to take pictures for ID and do the fingerprints. 

Got my letter today also, 24xx

Is there hope with this high # ?
