"Your neck HAS to be smaller than 17 inches."

Wait a second... It "HAS" to be smaller than 17 inches lmao... what if a person just has a big neck? lol Plus I don't have sleep apnea, I am a bit over weight but I'm as healthy as an ox, I just got blood work done 3 weeks ago and I have nothing wrong, I'm legit not exaggerating I'm healthy lol I'm afraid I'll disqualified just because my neck is big, plus I've seen the biggest people working for the MTA lmao. yes i've seen TOs big too.

  2. I hope everyone enjoyed their Independence day yesterday. I hope everyone that took the drug test gets called this week for offer/medical and the people that got called last week for drug tests get to 180 and it goes as smooth as possible. Happy Monday Peeps!

I'm speaking solely off my experience from when I was appointed bus Operator. They do vision, blood pressure, hearing, and the doctor ask you a few questions from what I remember. You get a lot of paperwork to sign and fill in and take pictures for your ID/pass. And also fingerprints as well it's almost a 6hr day or more depending on your situation.

Sounds like a blast to me lol

  5. It was pretty smooth guys. They have a good system in there to make the process a lot faster, Just don't forget to drink enough water for the drug test and bring all the required documents with you. I do have a question for the people who have done the Medical. What does the medical consist of? 14XX here

Anyone submit their canvas application this week and are still waiting on a call to come in??
    15xx super anxious

I was on the same boat. I know it sucks to hear it but be patient. If they sent you a canvas and you sent it in on time you will be called.

Hi!! How long does it take to get a call to come in to180 Livingston for pre employment after submitting the canvas application?

For me I submitted it on Friday when I got the email. After submission I got a call today. I read other people submitted the canvas on Sunday and they got called yesterday. So I'm guessing it really depends on different things.

If you look at the email closely the drug test in on the list of requirements for the job. When the click the link  on number 8, you will see that the drug test is not listed. It will be done at 180 Livingston

    Perfect!

For anyone interested. I just rolled into 180 for my pre-employment. There's not to many people here. Covid restrictions are being heavily enforced. Let's see how this goes.

That honestly makes me feel a bit better since I haven't been called and I'm in the 50s for cert. Maybe it's because they don't want a million people in the offices like before.

If they called me, I missed it. I received an email from nyctransitops@nyct.com

check your spam , it could be there?  Otherwise, call 180 in the morning. Can’t get through? I’d go in person. Good luck!

They didn't call me, I don't have any email. If they sent me an email it would come through because the canvas came through too. I might go in person on Wednesday since I'm off only if I don't get a call tomorrow. I might call tomorrow too.
