  1. 9147-9148 added to the in service roster recently. Not much else at the moment unfortunately
  2. 9125-9126 and presumably 9127-9128 were delivered this week. That closes the 9120 gap. 9177-9178 has been added to the roster. Currently an east leading motor.
  3. 9121-9122 in service. Currently trailing motor west/leading east of an 8 car set. 9173-9174 was the most recently spotted on test trains.
  4. 9119-9120 was added to the roster about two weeks ago. Originally debuted on the Huntington line I believe. Nothing else new here really….
  5. 9181-9182 entered service this morning on the Babylon Branch. Currently on Train #47
  6. Been lazy lately. Two more pairs recently entered service. 9165-9166 at least a month or so ago. 9179-9180 also entered service during the first days of the GCM shuttle, got the chance to ride it myself. 9163-9164 was also delivered by freight on January 25th. A few other cars remain at Yonkers. The last couple of cars or so still at Lincoln.
  7. 9187-9188 has entered service. This is our first pair of 9180s. It is the west leading motor on 4359 which will turn for Train #140 to Babylon. Probably about 36-38 more cars left to take.
  8. 9159-9160 entered Service on 6025, a new pair for Christmas Day ! Merry Christmas everyone
  9. 9129-9130 entered service on Friday. 9187-9188 leads the newest test train. Got 44 more units to go for next year…. Slow but steady
  10. 9167-9168 entered service today. Currently running on Train #105. First pair to enter service since late July. Test trains are also back on the roster again
  11. Not exactly the best news out of the book. CPOC has announced that the last 44 cars will not be accepted till next year… At this point, the only cars left for this year should be 9093-9094-9095-9096 and the remaining 9120 series. Hopefully 9013-9014-9015-9016 as well. Anything 9157-9202 with the exception of 9161-9162 and 9171-9172 which are already running will probably not be taken in until then unless a switch around happens.
  12. 9095-9096 delivered last night to hillside
  13. 9161-9162 accepted for service as of yesterday making the total number of cars accepted so far at 128. Ran a Huntington and Babylon round trip yesterday and is currently doing another Babylon round trip now. It is the trailing motor east and leading west.
  14. After a dreadful wait, 9081-9082 finally entered service as of last week closing in the 9080 gap. Newest test train sets up an oddity once again with revenue pair 9135-9136 being slapped to the front (East). Trailing pair is 9165-9166 still.
  15. 9143-9144 in service as of yesterday morning. 9167-68 seems to be the newest test train pair. The last 14 cars in Nebraska are coming at a slower than usual rate due to labor and parts shortages. The plant in Nebraska has a turn over rate of up to 50 workers a month based on what was said at CPOC. September 2023 is the new date for conditional acceptance of the last car. Sad but not much can be done. As for the last car. 9202 has pretty much been fully built on its exterior portion and continues to make its way down the assembly line. New training methods and other ways to keep workers and create higher build quality are implemented with heavy MTA oversight (Babysitting) due to the not so functional management at the Lincoln plant in particular. This will help the R211 fleet not run into the same issues that we have dealt with.
  16. 9171-9172 accepted for service and has received the honor of leading Train #1260 to Hicksville tonight. This is the first of the 9170s to enter passenger service
  17. 9151-9152 entered service on the Babylon branch this morning running trains 18 and 55. Looks like we will see more pairs entering service daily now.
  18. Well, here we go again, third unit to catch fire after 1930 and 1889…. 2015-2016 model of course. Unit number of this one is unknown. https://www.k2mphotography.com/Firefighting/Hempstead-Fire-Department-/Greenwich-Street-6-16-22/
  19. 9155-9156 is now the first pair to be accepted for revenue service in four months. Currently running on train 424 to Port Washington. Testing proceeds with a test train running to KO with 9085-9086 leading.
  20. Last I’ve seen is that I passed pre screening at least a couple of weeks. Just hang in there, I’m sure something will come up eventually
  21. https://www.auctionsinternational.com/m/#/auction/nassau-county-dpw-mta-ny-28691-28691 Remaining 1700s and a few more transit vans up on the block. Seems like they’re keeping more parts and the entire units mostly together Vs pulling almost everything.
  22. New outlook is December of this year for the last cars based on the CPOC meeting for this month. Continuing to work out issues with workmanship etc. highest car on property seems to be 9184 at Arch street as of this morning. No new cars have been pressed into service since February. Plenty of test trains do continue to run daily however. They also took delivery of two more pairs bringing us to 126 M9s and 116 M3s. Yes, they have finally outnumbered….
  23. Quite a few updates as of today: #1, 9150s have begun service entry as of this morning beginning with pair 9153-9154 leading express train #2109 from Ronkonkoma to Penn station. #2, went to Jamaica the other day and found the most recent test train consist. The arrangement is 9151-9152-9013-9014-9165-9166. Not sure why 9013-9014 is still in there almost four years later.... #3: we are up to 9184 at the Kawasaki factory in Yonkers. Nearing completion with the order. #4: rumors that the M9 assembly line has been taken down as production is allegidly finished. #5: another pair unknown was delivered a day or two ago
  24. 9111-9112 has entered service as of the past week or two ago. Test trains seem to be running whatever is deemed necessary. Pretty sure some 9160s have been spotted on them.
  25. https://www.auctionsinternational.com/m/#/auction/nassau-county-dpw-mta-ny-27687-27687 Here we go, February auctions are off to the races. Includes what I assume are the last of the 1700s : 1772, 1708, 1726, 1704, 1752, 1777, 1784, 1785, 1770, 1778, 1730, 1794, 1759, 1728, 1754, 1757, 1721, 1712, 1767, 1734, 1718, and 1715. They also ditched two 2014 caravans and five 2016 transit vans. Oddly enough, the ARBOC spirit of mobiltys are staying.
