Looks like sometime during the spring pick. It’ll be a year since we took the exam. They’ve nearly exhausted the previous list. Word is the next class will wrap up that list. Just remain patient.

Some time in November possibly. I think the old list might get dragged out though. We’ll see. With the new year coming up a lot of guys will be retiring, so maybe the old list will fill those slots and they will start fresh with 3709.

It can take 8 months give or take if the list is moving. I’m assuming you’re talking about the OA list.

I wonder if they’re trying to close it early because the next list will be small and they want to get bodies from the new exam?

It all depends. The top guys will be the ones who scored single digits + seniority. If the average person got single digit scores it’ll be competitive. If history repeats itself 88 should make the top 100. The 100th person on the 2014 exam 4700 got an 87.275. On 8702 the 100th person got a 77.50.. it all depends really, statistically that seems like a score that should make the top 100. However, this exam was considered easier than others. 

This list will be double the size of 8702. I’m curious to see how single digit scores hold up.

With Livingston, your best bet is to keep in frequent contact. Make them remember your name. Shouldn’t have to be this way but that’s the best way to go about it. 

Word of advice, if just filling out paperwork is too stressful, this job might not be the one for you. Once hired you will have no set schedule, working whatever hours they throw your way, you’ll only find out the day before. So be prepared to work weekends, holidays and random hours. Sometimes you only get 8 hours in between the runs. With this job you must have patience. If not, good luck you’ll be in a world of hurt. Like anything though, with time it gets better. 

In regards to the future exam, for the people who crossed from OA to TA does our OA time count as experience? Or does the experience start from the day we got hired as TA? 

Anyone hear of any projected dates for a future exam?

Next class is towards the end of October. You will have to take your drug test again, they are only good for 30 days, medicals are good for 90.

@Natalie that’s the depo I want lol, waiting for the next class. Did you get a pick or it was nothing really available? Also can you swap depos with colleagues?

 I already have an appointment with a cardiologist, I sent him the ekg and he was disappointed that the doc said there was an issue Since there isn’t one. I already know I have to wait for an October class though, but it gives me time to work out some kinks with school. I’m hype for everyone that’s going in lol. 

@Biggington congrats, I Can’t relate ☹️ My doc said my ekg was border line abnormal and it’s best to put me on hold to see a specialist, meanwhile my ekg from my primary a couple weeks ago was fine. Oh well sucks but it is what it is.

Sounds like they on some BS. Just have to wait and see Monday. I don’t like the sound of that.

I passed my CDL road test today! Everything fell in place, I can't believe it!!
