Yes i agree 100% with everything you said. Mr. Amos is definitely the guy to go to when u need help. Also, yes pre trip is important but you still need to get your reps in with the off set, parallel parking, etc. 4 people in my class failed because they were so focused on the pretrip. when it was time for the driving portion, they fumbled badly.

meaning you never know what can happen. i was originally in the march class for pre employment and because of covid it got pushed back 6+ months. you should just start the process as soon as you can with all this crazy stuff going on in this world

mta will pay for you to get your cdl license. all you need is your permit. I myself, and 20+ other students all only had out permits and obtained our actually license through the Job. you should still continue with the process before its to late..

On day 7 No, we didnt drive on the highway. It was In Manhattan around 34th street. But not the Busy 34th side where Macys is. It was like a 45 min drive around that area.

CONGRATS to everyone (Including myself) who qualified early today, on our 7th day. This was a very tough, emotional week. For those who didnt pass and need additional practice, dont feel discouraged. Take a deep breath and USE THOSE REFERENCES when making those turns. Good luck ☺️

First day of training for me was yesterday. And let me tell you, it was not easy lol. Two of my classmates came from driving school buses and them too, said driving the mta bus is hard and not the same at all. For all my new trainees how are you liking it?

I did my drug test the same day (9/18) & was called on tuesday (9/22) to come in today for medical.
