  1. Definitely. They haven't even put up the answer key yet. Smh.
  2. Two months from now, they will probably send me another e-mail congratuling me for getting to step one of the pre-employment process and I will have to do everything all over again. I have taken three days off of work for this and I haven't even done medical yet. I spent over 12 hours there on the third, when I could have been at work making overtime for a 12 hour shift. This is just ridiculous.
  3. They're blaming everything on their staff being sick. Who knows...
  4. Nope. I haven't heard anything from them yet. They are desperate for people and their hiring process is the worst. I saw a training bus on Lexington Ave. Tuesday, so there is a class currently.
  5. Yeah. There was another guy there who was called back after 10/29 as well. I tried to just do the drug test and leave, but I was told that I had to do the application all over again because it expires after 90 days, even though my application was only 2 months old.
  6. Good luck. Be prepared to stay there all day. They are very short staffed. Covid has decimated their staff. There was only one tech guy there after 3 when the shift changed. And the randoms, accidents and regular MTA employees will get preference over pre-employment. The supervisor was very upset because someone who was there that day went on social media and complained about them. Bring food.
  7. Afternoon. Exam 1100. I took my first drug test on 10/29.
  8. I am awaiting the results of the drug test. I heard that the next class is 01/16.
  9. No, I did not. The lab technician had me listed as a current employee on his paperwork.
  10. Do you know if the policy has changed? I was at Livingston all day yesterday because they sent me another e-mail last week inviting me to go through step one of the hiring process again. My appointment was for 9:30 and I was in the lab until almost 10PM because they are so short staffed. There was a dispatcher and a shopsteward from MJQ there as well and they were saying how there are hundreds of runs that don't go out daily, because they don't have anyone to cover them due to drivers calling out because they are sick. They were even discussing hiring part timers.
  11. I was an extended probie. I was days away from passing probation.
  12. They rehire people all the time...one guy who was let go, went onto become a dispatcher. All of my former co-workers were telling me to reapply. One of the Union reps told me over a year ago to reapply. I just want a definitive timeframe.
  13. I was let go, because I had 2 bad check rides. Both of the observations noted that I didn't properly strap in a wheelchair. I was withTA at the time and I did the drug test for OA on 10/29 and I have not heard from MTA since. They knew that I was a former employee, because my BSC number was on the attendance sheet next to my name.
