Hey everyone I have a decision to make, I been in MaBSTOA approximately 5 months. They just called me for TA Exam 2611 yesterday and I’m trying to decide which is best when it comes to a few things. can someone explain or post a link that better explains the differences between MaBSTOA and TA *will I have to start over my probation? *what boroughs covers each division *benefit of civil services(TA) thanks in advance to anyone that gives me feedback

Good evening all, anyone been called in the last 1-2 weeks for final processing for 2302? March 1st I got my medical hold cleared plus did drug test. Still haven’t gotten a email yet. Every time I call to find out, I’m told they are not taking anyone for 2302 and to call back in 2 weeks.

Anyone got called in the last 1-2 weeks to do final processing for 1100?

Yup, they said right now they are not taking anyone for 2302 and 1100. I dunno how true that is.

First pass drug test and then medically cleared. If it been 30+ days and you still waiting or whatever and haven’t gotten fingerprinted. You gotta do another drug test after every 30 days until you get confirmed for class.. I’m saying this because it happened to me and I still haven’t gotten fingerprinted yet. Last time I went there was to get medical hold cleared and had to do a 2nd drug test. Now it been 29 days and still waiting 🤷🏽‍♂️

Congratulations, did you have permit or class B, prior experience driving or just practice driving during training.

I didn’t get cleared because I had to redo a second drug test because it was past 30 days. Here I’m about to go pass 30 days again🤦🏾‍♂️. I had an appointment as well the same day I got medical cleared.

I called today about 2302, I was told call back second week of April because they don’t have the schedule for the classes yet.

Did you email for appointment to cleared medical or you did it as walked in?

I got cleared from medical hold on March 1st and the same day I had to do a 2nd drug test. I’m still waiting on a email to return back there to complete the final processing. Did you have to do a 2nd drug test? Also did you do the final processing the same day you got cleared from medical hold?

Well said, sadly you are not lying. I cleared my medical hold last Tuesday and had to redo a 2nd drug test. Til this day I’m still waiting for the email. Was hoping to get into the class starting on the 13th. Well I called today and the lady said no result is back yet and right now they are not taking anyone for any classes. So that’s the reason I haven’t been reached out to yet. Also was told to call back at the end of the month. Advice to all who already went in to do pre-employment, take the opportunity to revise the pretrip material. This site is very resourceful, I found a lot of stuff that’s sorta preparing me, mind you I have only my B permit.

Yes it the same benefits but I forgot what it is that TA have better than the rest. I’m in the process too. 🇹🇹

Visited the doctor and have documentations from my doctor clearing me for blah blah blah. I’m requesting an appointment so that I can complete the medical process. I did excatly what I said above on the Friday and got an email the Monday to come in the following day for clearance. After I got the white paper, I had to do a 2nd drug test. Now waiting for the email for final processing. GOOD LUCK. Keep updates.

I dunno if they will allow walk in. There’s usually a short guy there his name is Kevin. You can speak to him. He’s very helpful. Also what do you need to do next. Maybe you can email them

You ran a red light while driving MTA bus or while in your personal car? They didn’t give you any courtesy?

I cleared medical on Tuesday, did 2nd drug test. Still waiting for email from that to go back to finish final processing🤦🏾‍♂️. I heard next class is March 13th, not sure if I will be making that class 😫.
